I’m about to go get a tire fixed…this is how my morning is starting. Must have picked up a nail or something. Nothing obvious I can see.

ā€œWinterizedā€ it.
This means installing winter wiper blades (it needed new wipers anyway) and sandbags in the bed, covered with a small wood deck I built last year.

After owning my 2022 Desert Sand Ranger....finally bought and hauled a 700 lb Valley Coin-Op Pool Table home ...a chore using six people...now to figure how to get in my basement.
I have something similar…

Good job! Rangers look so good levelled.

I see you’re a risk taker…

I popped the CV Axle nut loose, backed it off about a 1/2" or more, I had room to play.

I started reading thatā€¦ā€I popped the CV axleā€ at thought, ā€œā€Oh no!ā€ :D

Just so you know for next time or if you help out a friend, you can take the nut right off and push the splined axle out of the knuckle and out of the way. Super easy to get it all back together.

It’s also a lot easier to maneuver the knuckle if you pull the rotor and calliper before you begin. Sure, it takes a couple of extra minutes but you already have the necessary tools out and it’s soooo worth it. No need for a cargo strap to hold it up or a jack under it like some folks do.

Good to know! Anything to make it easier on the next one!

Drove up into Cherokee National Forest to fish a stream I hadn’t fished before. Was able to soak in the cool crisp autumn air and colors. Caught a few fish as well. Fall sure is purty šŸ˜‚

Played with the settings on the BW hitch I just got. Since truck is lifted now.
Loaded the trailer up to about 4K total pulled it around a bit since I haven’t towed anything since I got it lifted.. It wasn’t too bad.

I’m thinking I may drop the hitch a little lower it’s set at about 8ā€ drop.. I can go one inch more but idk…
The squat drives me a little nuts but it is what it is for me right now.
