A project I've been wanting to do for a while now I finally got started.

Bye Bye silver/chrome trim.

Also, for those who want to remove their touch screen trim at some point in future, the guys at Ford made this ONE trim piece so you not only have to take the entire console out, but you would then have to remove these PITA tiny screws on the back of the console to get access to THE screws that actually connect the trim to the console. Ain't no body got time for that!

Very cool...that is a project im hoping to do as well, was wondering how those pieces came out (clearly sounds like a PITA). I was thinking of making them high gloss black.

Satin Black with a Satin Clear over top.

I still need to do all the door handle trim, probably this weekend. For shits and giggles I was toying with some white faux carbon fiber wrap I had left over. Kind of dig the contrast.

But I am not going to be reassembling the dash till the end of the weekend. I've been wanting to centralize the brains of all my auxiliary electronics, so this is about to become my new "brain box" under the rear passenger seat. Will require some extra loop back wiring for the front end electronics, but when I am done I won't have to screw around under the steering wheel in the future.

Gonna be a few days before I install the new grill with lights and AlphaRex Luxx’s, my crippled ass crawling around on the garage floor…. I am gonna be chillin tomorrow.

oh, and if you want a pro tip on how to explain Ranger purchases, I think my logic is pretty flawless. Told the wife that I got these lights for $289, and because I installed them myself I saved $200, so basically we get to see better at night or when it’s snowing in the winter here in Alaska, and it only cost us $89.

She didn’t agree with my line of thinking but she does think it looks nice!
Those look great. Just got notified mine shipped today.

Washed money pit and gave it a full detail. I actually started this last night and finished up this morning. Love the Graphene finish and it’s held up great since last November. The hood has a mirror finish as you can see by the reflection off the ceiling. Full details here.

Thanks Buddy! You need one of those undercarriage washers or IIRC you already have one? Either way take the weekend off and go out and play....Who need furniture anyways! ?

Alex, I’ve seen the undercarriage of your Everest - it’s cleaner than Dave’s hood.

need to fine tune the alignment of it.
This has been a difficult part of mine tonneau. I had it right, but then they took it off to spray my line-x and I haven't gotten it right since. I have a replacement seal to install, so hopefully I can get it right this next time... Once the corner seals are installed, it's hard to get it realigned.

Spent 3 hours and multiple body contortions to install this stupid thing that Ford decided to delete after 2020.
At least I don't have to listen to my glove box slam now.

How often are you in and out of your glovebox?

Mine gets opened twice a year most years, to put a new insurance card in there. And randomly if I get pulled over.

Most of the stuff that got deleted for '20, and then '21 was useless garbage IMHO. With the exception of the fold down rear headrests.

Now why would he do that, the fine print states the current Damper is good for EVERYTHING. Including but not limited to
Glove box upgrade
Door upgrades
Antenna upgrade
Rear locker improvement
If you dont have a locker, it will still improve it ?
seat enhancements
Improved wife/husband
If you dont have either, it will be both
added power to the engine
added power to your butt thats connected to the engine.
and much more.......................................................

You guys really need to learn to read the fine print.

Unfortunately, because of some mods I did with some weather stripping and rubber wipers to stop dust/water at the tailgate openings, I don't have a damper (my head is held low as I type this) so no fine print to read !!!
But, a glove box damper is a definite needed product to stop the dreaded "hurt wrist" syndrom from occurring due to the constant opening and closing of the glove box door. That door is HEAVY !!!

Even my work computer knows a damper is needed . It keeps reminding me of that today . I think Dave's advertising budget has increased , lol .
