Nope, not trolling. 13.8 per the truck lie-o-meter. 13.9 hand calculated over 6 months. Bumper to bumper, stop light to stop light. I granny drove it for a few weeks and was barely mid-14's. Took a 4 hour road trip and averaged about 20 MPG at 75 MPH.
Average spend on gas for this truck over...
Eh, I didn't "need" the truck. With gas prices at $6 a gallon locally and below 14 MPG I couldn't justify keeping it. I don't "need" the Tesla either. Either one is a lifestyle/luxury purchase and I don't kid myself otherwise.
Posted a while ago about my abysmal gas mileage. With registration due this last month I shopped the truck around. Good enough numbers came in that I let it go. Sold my 2021 XLT 301a with 9k miles for $36,500 to a local dealer.
Decided to go a complete extreme from the truck and reserved a...
I have been watching my fuel mileage over the last couple months as gas has been rising. Lie-o-meter says 13.8 MPG and hand calculated says 14.86. My commute is 6 miles in bumper to bumper, stop light to stop light, traffic. Last 2 weeks been driving it like a grandpa and still haven't crossed...
I like the design of the Frontier. I decided to see what something as close as possible would run on their Build & Price. Not that I had any intention of getting rid of my 5k mile 2021 Ranger but was curious. My Ranger sticker was $37,355, the Frontier would be $40,405.
AutoNation Ford Tustin is pretty solid with an appointment and not far from the San Clemente area. My go-to is Fritt's Ford in Riverside but that is a bit of a haul from SD/OC.
Thanks. We have seen the traffic on the 5 on each of our visits over the last couple years but compared to our IE to OC or LA traffic it wasn't nearly as bad. We'll be checking out areas over Spring Break in March so we will check out those listed. I appreciate the feedback. Wife wants a new...
Hey folks, I am currently located in Southern CA but have a lucrative opportunity to get up to an area wife and I have been looking at for a while, with someone else footing the moving bill. Our preference (ok, dream) would be Gig Harbor but more than likely we'll be looking at the Bonney Lake...
Eh, I have used that saying for years and truly believe it in my situation. Here's the difference, I married a woman who would never take advantage of it. She knows full well I would buy her whatever she wanted, she doesn't ever push it. Quite the opposite, actually. I, often, have to coax her...
I have done it a couple times but PenFed handled the DMV, I just had to get it smogged. Latest truck I used a local-ish credit union and they did not allow out of state purchases and since there wasn't really any savings I just went through Autonation Tustin and bought (somewhat) local.
