Hi Jeff,

I think we already established to the Ford service part numbers a few posts earlier with this image

As of right now the Tremor is the only model with Accessory Switches so it would be the bottom number.

The milkion dollar question is can I use the 250A Tremor alternator on the XLT, Lariet? I am going to do a car audio upgrade and want to install a winch and I will need a HO alternator. There are no aftermarket HO options roght now.

Mounting and wiring should not be a problem, My concern would be how the BCM or ECM regulate/monitor the output and would either module restrict its output? Most modern day alternators handle this internally but just putting this concern out there incase.

There is a 760 and 800 AMP, This VIN uses the 760 Part Number BAGM-48H6-760

The 800 # is BAGM-94RH7-800

Hi Mike,
That price is just for the switch housing with pigtail. To my knowledge this is not a plug and play upgrade, I would expect custom wiring to be required as this is incorporated into the dash harness from the factory

$1700 is a LOT of money for that, not including supporting wiring. Going to have to think about it.

I hear ya, Its was sad when we first learned of its pricing as it no longer became a reasonable option for those looking to add some Aux features. I'm sure the aftermarket will come through with a panel that sits in its place and allows for easier integration.

Unless you were directly involved in pricing this item, I don't think we can hold you accountable.. ? I think this is really priced to keep it in the Tremor packages only. I'm surprised they opened it up to non-Tremors, honestly.

You can always try something like this:

You only need to find a location in the engine bay for the relay box and run the control harness inside to where you want the control panel. Anything you add won't need a hole through the firewall to connect to the switch. Purchased one for myself, but haven't had time to put it in. ?
