I've got a 2019 XLT FX4.
Just went over 63,000 miles.
Daily driver, and I do some moderate wheeling with it.
I get the oil changed every 10K like clockwork, and the rest of the maintenance done per the owner manual schedule
NEVER had a problem with it.

My own build is going a bit slower. Seems getting the kid out of the house and into the college only increased the money I'm spending. Funny how that works.

Hell, should probably just look at trading in.
And if you're that concerned about a skid plate for this application, and the tank being steel won't work for you, you're already spending $2K on the new tank. Drop another couple hundred on a custom skid.
So the question I've got is, what are the specifications of the front axle and differential housing?
I THINK it's a Dana 30 axle on a Spicer 200 diff housing (I know Dana and Spicer are the same company) but I haven't seen anything to confirm this completely?
