My Tremor has Eibach Pro-Lift in the front adjusted (by Ebach at their Corona, CA facility) to about 1.75" lift. This is about equal to, according to them, the 2.75" setting on a non-Tremor. I have Raceline wheels with +35 offset and 275-75-17 (34" x 11.5") Toto AT III tires. Crash bars are removed, fender liner trimmed and plastic waffle clearanced. (I fabricated sheet metal liners to cover all the waffles and bare fender) No rubbing a full lock/compression. No lift in the back and the clearance, fender to tire, is about 3/4" more in the rear which looks very "level" IMO.
275/75r17’s fall inbetween 33’s-33.5’s don’t they?

After 3” of lift on the front (from stock tremor height..so basically 4ish” over a basic stock ranger)..UCA’s required and you will be causing the fd axles to be at angles that will cause excessive wear.. (so slight front diff drop required imo.)
As mentioned before +2 on a tremor is +3 on a fx4..
Also if you “use” your truck often as a truck..
You’ll want a little rake..
Personally I’m not a fan of completely level..
Once you put 300lbs (~136kilo for our Canadian brother) in the bed you’re getting the truck to squat. With an inch rake you’ll sit level with a 300lb load.
2” up front on the tremor will fit 285/70r17.. however you will slightly rub on the usual suspects under the rougher conditions (articulating, reversing at full lock, bumps at full lock, etc.)
Also I’m 3/4 a bottle deep into a cab sav and watching game of thrones with wifey.. if I made a mistake… just make fun of me and tell me what I got wrong 😅
I appreciate the reply! I’d plan to add 1” rear blocks to compensate for at least some of the rake, but was curious where it becomes too much stress on the stock tremor suspensions. Maybe 2” would be the way to go with 33s

At 3.5” from a stock ranger. At 2.5” from a tremor… the truck will still be drive able… just puts more stress on the front CV axles. (It’s just recommended ((especially if component longevity is important to you.))
at 2” from a stock ranger for UCA’s (recommended)
And at 1.5” from a tremor for UCA’s (recommended)..
For the majority of the vehicles main components tremors are identical to rangers.
I’m just average joe in my knowledge on these things btw so hopefully I’m not just being dramatic about the cv concern and uca..
I had similar questions like you have..
I’m just regurgitating the information that was passed to me, now on to you…

For 285/70r17 (considered 33’s but truthfully they typically fall between 32.5-33 depending on tire manufacturer.)

With a 2” spacer lift(for the tremor)

1” rear block rear (I’ve heard good quality 1” shackle is a better way to go for the tremor, though I’m not sure specifically why..might be because you don’t have to worry about the little block spacer that is on one side to compensate for the fuel tank weight ((the Ranger lean mitigation provided by ford😅))

high clearance intrusion beams/crash bars

also will you be changing the wheels? Or keeping the stock tremor wheels?
Tremor wheels are 17x8 with 42 offset I believe. (See pics below)

You’ll want to measure around the current tire to see if you have more than a inch of clearance between the material of the tire in comparison to the suspension components..(particularly the UCA.. man I did all this before, but I can find where I wrote all my findings down.. my finding and what you find will have some deviation but it’ll be close enough.)..
If I recall correctly I had about a 1” and a eighth clearance..
Putting 285/70r17 on the oem wheels reduces the clearance by about a half inch.
Theoretically you’d be adding 9/16’s of material in almost all directions of the tire you have.. (it’s not exact but a bit of a baseline to use) and you can anticipate how you’ll rub (if you’ll rub) so you can then go from there..

if you are going to get new wheels and tires the figures get a bit more complicated..
But having your base line numbers can help you, other factors arise

I originally wanted the roush 17” bronco/ranger wheels (17x9 +25 offset) with 285/70r17 tires.
With additional lift 2” up front, 1” rear, crash/intrusion beams replaced with high clearance ones, and BDS UCA’s. there was a very slight chance of rubbing when turning full lock going over bumps..
Hope I made sense and it helps you make your decisions.

Disclaimer though.. I’m just a knucklehead on the internet, genuinely trying to help, however I am a knucklehead.. so make sure you take your time, do as much of the homework you can, and paying a little more to do it right the first time is usually less expensive than paying less to do the wrong thing twice 😅

I’d plan to keep the tremor wheels as I really like their look, I’d also keep it simple and go with general grabber 285/70/17, again because they have the same profile as the stock 265/70/17s. Thanks again for the feedback, I’d been told that this setup would not require any high clearance intrusion beams

Under normal driving I’d say that’s accurate.. off roading you might make slight contact. I couldn’t know for sure.
Post pics once you get it all fitted up. It’s gonna look great. Hope you can get it all done soon
