I have 265/70/17’s right now but I keep seeing tacos and 4runners with 285’s hah. I want 285’s but not if it’s going to leave me stranded the first time I head out in the mountains. Ripping the wheel liner and attached brake lines off when the truck flexes would suck... a lot.

So I just installed the RC 2.5" leveling kit and new updated sway bar links. Anyone know what's the biggest tire we can go on that set up while still using the stock rims?

I have the RC 2.5" level with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 265/70/17 and stock wheels and there's no rubbing. Anything larger and you'll have to adjust/remove the crash bars.

I've had a few questions since I posted in the off-road pic thread so here's my setup.

I'm running BFG K02 275/70/18s (~33") on stock rims with the Bilstein 5100s on the highest setting. They are suuuuuper tight but so far no rubbing even after some mild off roading in Moab.

Here is how far I am from the knuckle:

I can just about get my fingers in-between the knuckle and the tire at it's closest.

The stance is near perfect in my opinion.

Here's my crash bar tolerance. This is driver's side, full right lock at the front crash bar.

Here is the rear crash bar, still on the driver's side, but full left lock.

I'm sure if I got to full compression, I'd have some rubbing but I'm fairly convinced this is the absolute biggest you can go on stock rims with a level.

I'm debating on going up a size from the BFG KO2 265/70/R17s I have. Now that I have a 2.5" Rough Country lift... would 270/75/R17s fit?

That's the rim/tire size and lift I'm running. I still wonder if a 75 side wall would fit.

I'm not sure if not will. ?‍ I read every post before buying these and knew that the 70's would fit without rubbing or removing/cutting the crash bars.

Everything I've read here indicates that a 275/70R17 will fit with a 2" lift or greater on stock wheels.

275/65R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3s with Eibach struts in front set at 2.25 inches using factory springs.

Any spacers used? Rubbing? I have splash guards, do you think I would have to worry about those? Thanks!

Another confirmed fit! 2021 Lariat FX4 with 265/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Nice smooth ride and no rubbing. 2" Ford Performance / Fox Racing level kit.

Note, Ford Performance was not able to confirm that the current leveling kit works with 2021 Ranger. I checked with Fox and took my chances. No surprise, it fits.

Great looking truck man, I just added the 2.5" leveling kit and was wondering what tires I could fit with the factory rim.

New on this forum but I'd like to share my fitment. I got eibach pro leveling kit running on the 2.5 mark up front. I'm running 1.5 hub centric wheel spacers all four corners. Tire size are 34s. 285/75r17 toyo at3 . Crash bars cut no rubbing anywhere speedo at 73mph actually doing 80. Also spare 285/75r17 clears

So Ive read the entire thread and still dont know what will work and what won't.
I have a 2019 Ranger Supercrew FX-4 (4x4) with a the ford performance (FOX 2.0 LEVELING KIT)

I know I can run 265/70/17's without rubbing or removing/replacing the crashbars but can I go with a 275/70/17 or a 255/75/17 and not have any rubbing issues and / or have to mess with the crashbars at all.

Really jus looking for whats the largest tire i can go with for the FORD PERFORMANCE
(FOX 2.0 LEVELING KIT) without issues.

With the Fox kit and stock wheels, you can run LT265/70R17 and LT255/70R17 without issue. It's already been confirmed that LT275/70R17 BFG K02's work as well.

I went with 265/70/17

Great choice of tires. I went with the same in 285/60/R18 but had to wait over a month to get the tires as they were on backorder. Amazing ride quality on these and excellent wet road traction! Personally think they are the best AT tires on the market for street/off road daily driver.
