Nice looking rig!
Did your gas mileage take a hit?
It did a bit, around 2-3MPG in most situations. On slower highways I can still get into the mid 20s but not as often as before.

Hey guys, I have the factory 17x8 wheels and I want to put the largest tire size possible on them. What’s the largest tire I can fit on my ranger with leveling kit, stock wheels, and removed crash bars? I’m looking for mud terrains that are as tall and wide as possible. Trimming and rubbing are alright i can fix the fitment later.

This thread was super helpful in my tire/wheel/suspension selection so wanted to post my experience/result.

Stock: 2019 Ranger XLT FX4
Wanted: 33" AT Tires
Tires: BF Goodrich LT285/70R17 AT T/A KO2 (~33")
Wheels: XD Addict Wheels 17x9 (35mm Offset, -20mm from stock)
Suspension: Eibach Pro Truck Lift Stage 2 with 2.5" Level/Lift

Take aways: I f***ing love it. Nothing rubs/everything fits. I only needed a 2" lift, but the shop went a little extra and I didn't want them to fix it.

Definitely stiffer than stock but still has some wobble. Less of an impact to turning radius than I expected. MPG only dropped by <0.5 mpg.

Decisions:
- Didn't want to risk spacers, so I went with wheels. The improved+ safety felt like a great thing to invest in.
- I've run KO2s on another vehicle and love them. I was very close to getting the Geolander X-AT (mildly more aggressive and better for mud/deep snow) but the extra 10 lbs of wheel weight turned me off.
- Stepped up from Leveling Kit to new suspension based on the reviews I read on this forum. Looking forward to testing them out.

All in cost: $4,960. More than I expected but hopefully the nice suspension pays off.

Threw on some 305/70/17r tires on a 17x9 +1mm offset rim with a 3” level.

Crash bars removed, plastic block behind felt liner removed, and a little bit of felt liner trimmed on the rear side of the front fender well. Only one spot rubs at full lock and full articulation. But it’s just the felt liner that needs to be trimmed more.

This thread helped out a lot in doing some research to see what would fit with some trimming ??

Good looking 34s! Did you really fit them with a +1mm offset wheel? Mind sharing which wheel?

Fit a set of 285/75r17 Toyo ATIIIs to the truck yesterday. Measure in a 34". I can confirm that a 285/75r17 tire will fit in the spare location.
What size spacer are you running? Stance looks damn near perfect

Thank you! Yeah the +1mm fit and cleared the spindle. The rim I have is the 17x9 Fuel Rebel 6 D679

Is anyone running 265/70R17 (Toyo OC AT3) on the +30 offset RTR rims? My math says it should be fine, but it will be close.

My suspension is stock FX4, factory crash bars.

I'd really like to avoid getting a suspension lift/level and avoid moving the crash bars if I can.

I went with the 70s over 65s mainly for cost (the 70s were surprisingly cheaper), and they'll look better if I end up doing the Fox 2.0 suspension.
