  1. Has anyone gone over 50,000 miles with no issues?

I refuse to answer this question on the basis of being reprimanded in the future by sweet Ranger 🤞
  2. DIY front shock installation

This is just me, but... to avoid this :headbang:, or this 🤕, I'd have a reputable shop do it. But... I'm some-what handy in my shop and have done this :fingerscrossed: many times.
  3. Struts/Shocks

I went with Bilsteins at all four corners with fronts set to 1.8 @ approx 75,000 miles. I'm approaching 100,000 miles and no issues at all. Better ride and better aesthetics (in my opinion). I've towed once in a while, again no issues.
  4. I'm frozen in fear to even touch the transmission - sage advice please

So... replaced the DPFE sensor - ✔ (good results) This truck has been very good to me... so far It just turned over 90,000 miles. I know I need to service the transmission sometime. I've done a few other things and am fairly comfortable completing maintenance tasks with the truck. Do I...
  5. I’m a believer now!

    My mileage improved 2 mpg.
  6. DPFE sensor change (sensor only)

I did the DPFE thing. Changed it out this past weekend. Reused the hoses. Water came out of the old sensor. I wasn't noticing a whole lot of issues prior to changing it out. But I got to say, I believe it's smoother now. I used worm clamps on both ends of the hoses. Was kind of a knuckle scaping...
  7. Wheel spacers

I'm resurrecting this thread. Been considering spacers for my 265/65/18 Coopers. Bilstein level front at 1.8. I would like more of the tire sticking out. Not a lot. Just a little bit. I'm not in the market for new wheels. I'm using factory wheels cuz I like the look. I'm concerned about rub. But...
  8. Leveling kit and tire.

Bilstein 5100's x4, front @ 1.8 Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail AT 265/65/18 Very happy. No issues.
  9. Putco LED Light Bar

That's crap... I was impressed with the light bar when I saw it online. Apparently more $ spent on marketing than R&D. It's not a cheap product. Let me re-phrase that... They're asking a lot of money for their product. And the nerve to tell YOU how to repair it.
  10. Why do you back in when parking?

Other than needing to make a quick get-away. Why would you back in when parking? My brother-in-law is in law enforcement and he always backs in. Presumably to get out faster, if needed. I used to back in all-of-the-time. Then I realized; If I back in, this leaves the front exposed (hate it...
  11. Tailgate sliding out

^^^ This ^^^ Shortly after i got my '19 Ranger, I noticed the little black plastic collar cracked in half laying on my driveway. Apparently that is the super-engineered solution from Ford to keep the tailgate pin in the right place. Since then, every once in a while the right side of gate will...
  12. Newbie! Leveling options that won't break the bank for 2020 XLT 4x4

Went with Bilstein 5100's all around. Very happy with the ride and the level @ 1.8.
  13. Parking Assist Sensor Sound Change

It'd be my 3rd battery. I'm in denial that's what it could be.
  14. Parking Assist Sensor Sound Change

My chime changed (again). The proximity sensor chime changed to high pitched rather than the normal sound. It has done this in the past and corrected itself. This time I resorted to disconnecting the negative from the battery for about 5 minutes. This accomplished the 'reset' and it sounds...
