I can confirm that the 285/70r17 BFG AT KO2 will fit on a stock FX4. No lift/level, no spacers.

I have an ever so slight run on the front intrusion bar when cranked over and in reverse. I think this can be solved by adjusting the intrusion bars forward.

Im about to put the same set up like yours
I got 285/70/17 BFG KO2. Also a 3in Torch level kit and I go some 1/4 spacers for both front and back. Any problems you had with the intrusion bars? I'm worried about the rubbing if any.

I am stock FX4 height. I rubbed on the intrusion beams in reverse. I did not use spacers. I ended up swapping them for 265/70r17s. With a lift, you would probably be okay, but I would have had to remove the intrusion beams and I wasn't ready to make that leap. At stock height, I also worried about rubbing offroad.

Searched most threads but couldn't find an exact answer. Has anyone put 275/70/17 wildpeaks with a FP Fox lift?

Thanks!!

Not that exact setup but I have 275/70R17 General Grabber ATX tires on +15mm offset wheels with a 2-1/2” lift.

If your Fox lift is adjustable to 2-1/2“ or if you’re running OEM wheels (+55mm offset), you will likely be okay, even if your Fox lift maxes out at 2”, which I think the FP Fox kit is set at. I was very close to rubbing but installed ReadyLIFT Anti-intrusion Beams just to be safe. I’d be more than fine if I had my stock wheels.

Isn’t it just loads of fun trying to figure this all out? ?

Haha! Yup, especially when you're trying to be special!
I'd be looking to use the Ford Performance raptor 17 wheels. I really don't want to mess with the crash bars but sounds like I may need to, to be safer off-road.

Hey all, got a newb here.
I have a 2021 FX4 Lariat Supercrew. I have put a 2” ReadyLift level on and still have the factory 18s and tires. I’d like to fill up the wheel well some without doing any kind of modifications to the suspension and the wheel wells. Looking for recommendations for a good off-road tire size that will fill some of that space without rubbing.

I think I posted in this thread. I went ahead and got the wheels and tires. Turned out exactly as I wanted and it barely clears the Intrusion Beams. I plan on replacing them because it’s a lil to close and runs if I punch it in reverse.

Wheels: Fuel Vector D579 17x8.5” 7mm offset
Tires: Falken WildPeak A/T3W 265/70R17

Thanks for posting these. I just ordered 17x8.5” 0mm offset with the same tire size. I have been stressing because I haven't found much with close to 0 offset and a 265/70/17 tire. Could you post a whole front end picture if you can?

No problem do you want just a shot from the front? Or a side shot showing how much they poke?

BFG KO2's 285/70r/17 rims are 17x8.5" (+0 offset) race relations RR6-H. Fox 2.0's, modified intrusion beams.
Any details on what intrusion beam modifications you needed?? I actually got the same wheels (RRW -RR6H), Fox 2.5's and am trying to decide between 285/70/17 and 285/75/17. I'll have BDS intrusion beams in front and rear, but trying to figure out if the 285/75/17 will actually fit without rubbing.

I've seen other members fit a 285/75/17 with crash bars removed, so that's always an option too I guess.

New on this forum but I'd like to share my fitment. I got eibach pro leveling kit running on the 2.5 mark up front. I'm running 1.5 hub centric wheel spacers all four corners. Tire size are 34s. 285/75r17 toyo at3 . Crash bars cut no rubbing anywhere speedo at 73mph actually doing 80. Also spare 285/75r17 clears

Any details on how much the crash bars were rubbing? Trying to decide between 285/70/17 and 285/75/17 like your setup. Trying to decide if I could get away with BDS intrusion beams instead of removing them entirely.
