I'm tired and hot... 96 here today and I'm too old and used to the AC to handle the sudden change. So put my 33x10.5 17's on today with 1 inch hubcentric spacers. looks great thereviews on the Kenda Klever RT's are BS it's not as quiet as stock... I didn't really think they would be. It's an aggressive tire might take some getting used to. First I'll have to deal with the front crash bar. I was hoping I wouldn't have to replace it, but way to much rub. Best advice on removing/replacing them? Pic is misleading I've got plenty of room in the back

Just this week upgraded my XLT to a set of 265/70R17 from stock. I already had some 17 X8.5 25 offset wheels I had put on last year.
Once the new tires were put on, I noticed I'm getting rub at nearly full-full lock on the front crash bars, seemingly worse in reverse.
I'm getting a 2.5in front level within the next week and I'm wondering if that should clear this rubbing issue. I feel like I've seen differing posts regarding whether leveling alone will resolve this or if it's also an issue with the wheel offset.
Any answers are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Yeah these posts are really straight to the point after you read all 32 pages you should have a good idea of what to expect.

This is what I did to mine. Fox level kit. Fabtech crash bars, 17x8.5 KMC Summit wheels with 18mm offset, and 265/70r17 Nitto ridge grapplers. I originally was going to put 285/70r/17's on, thats why i did the crash bars. But I liked the look of the 265's better, No issues at all. Wheels stick out about 3/4 of an inch past the fenders. Ford performance tune and exhaust are next

Looking for someone with the same or similar set up as me to answer this question:

mid inadd a 1” or 1.5” spacer to my set up, will I still have clearance? I have some bushwacker fenders on. But they are little wider then my set up and I want the wheels and tires to like a little more. But as of now, I have no running. But I’m worried adding spacers may rub. And I do not want to have to take those fenders off Bc I don’t want to have to put new ones back on lmao PIA

Here’s what I have

fox 2.0
Camburg UCAs
17x8.5 +25 six speed alloys
286/70/17 open countries
High clearance intrusion beams from ready Lyft
No rubbing currently. Even at full crank.

Readylift 3in w/ 1in block. 33x12.5r22 -51 offest. Trimming was definitely required
The little stars on the sides of your tires are very cute.

I think I posted in this thread. I went ahead and got the wheels and tires. Turned out exactly as I wanted and it barely clears the Intrusion Beams. I plan on replacing them because it’s a lil to close and runs if I punch it in reverse.

Wheels: Fuel Vector D579 17x8.5” 7mm offset
Tires: Falken WildPeak A/T3W 265/70R17

I can confirm that the 285/70r17 BFG AT KO2 will fit on a stock FX4. No lift/level, no spacers.

I have an ever so slight run on the front intrusion bar when cranked over and in reverse. I think this can be solved by adjusting the intrusion bars forward.
