This is just outside of carrizo plains National monument in California! Supposed to have super nice wildflower blooms this time of year but it was so dry it was a little disappointing in that way.
Selling my set of 4 wheels, and full size spare off my 2019 ford ranger. Tires have about 25k on them, but lots of tread left and in great condition, some minor blemishes from use on the tires.
From what I understand, I believe these wheels are 18x8 et 55. 6x139.7 (6x5.5)
Tires are Hankook...
Finally got my wheel/tire and suspension set up
Wheels: Relations Race Wheels RR6-H, 17x8.5 0 offset in matte bronze
Tires: BFG k02, 285/70/17
Suspension: Fox 2.5 front and rear, front raised about 2.5"
Cut out rear intrusion beams, they were rubbing, cut out some fender liner that rubbed...
Awesome! Thanks that's super helpful..
Yeah i'm not too concerned running without them.. But I did already buy the BDS ones and installed the front ones, so Ideally I'd put them to use
I may just give it a shot and see how it works.
Any details on how much the crash bars were rubbing? Trying to decide between 285/70/17 and 285/75/17 like your setup. Trying to decide if I could get away with BDS intrusion beams instead of removing them entirely.
Any details on what intrusion beam modifications you needed?? I actually got the same wheels (RRW -RR6H), Fox 2.5's and am trying to decide between 285/70/17 and 285/75/17. I'll have BDS intrusion beams in front and rear, but trying to figure out if the 285/75/17 will actually fit without...
Instructions were definitely clear enough for me. The only thing you may want to consider adding is some details on how to remove the crash bars. It should be easy enough for most people to research, but if you have a stock truck one of the bottom fog light bolts is right up against the crash...
Got the second pair of lights installed last night. Got the SAE fogs in the middle, and Floods on the outside, but still need to wire it all up and get them all aimed and adjusted where I want.
Tried to grab a pic of the back side, hopefully this works. I'm not running the plastic trim pieces...
Got mine installed this weekend too. Install was really easy other than removing the crash bars. But loosing the bumper one side at a time to pull them out was for sure the way to go. Also made it easy to install my new intrusion beams at the same time!
So far I've got one Diode Dynamics SS3...
Jealous.. I ordered my Fox 2.5 coils all the way back on 3/26. Fox shipped a partial shipment of the rears and I installed them, but still no fronts... Stage 3 said fox estimated them to be done late may early june, still no word on the fronts :(
Gotcha, I'll have to play with the settings a little more, but so far it's definitely much improved over stock even at the current setting.
I have the aluminum knuckles. I'm planning on just running the stock upper control arms for now, but eventually ill get something that can handle a little...
Awesome! Glad to hear it, I ended up mounting the body up too. So glad to hear it holds up off road so far. I'll keep and eye on it just in case.
Have you found any good damping settings you liked yet? So far I started at 3 clicks in for high and low speed. It feels like it could use a little...
What did you end up doing with this? I'm at the same point in my install and the cap is super close to the frame. Contemplating if I should mount the shocks the other way.
It seems it should only be close to contacting at full droop, and the parts seem to say they can take 0-1.5" lift, but the...
