  1. Bilstein 4600 shock upgrade worth it ?

Sorry. I was responding to the question about the shocks affecting the ride height of the truck when towing. All the height and tow ratings should remain the same. Different shocks will affect the ride quality.
  2. Bilstein 4600 shock upgrade worth it ?

Doing the rears will have the most noticeable effect. The shocks probably aren't going to affect your towing or your ride height as long as you don't make any other "height" adjustments to the suspension.
  3. What is this for under the center armrest?

They say that you only need one bullet.
  4. What is this for under the center armrest?

Feature is on the 2020 model. I think that later models are designed to hold a snowflake.
  5. Bible Museum

Wow, now there is a Bible museum on Ranger5g.com - Virtual Edition!
  6. Backup camera starting to fail

The music plays and I can adjust the volume, but I can't change channels and I can't power off. If I hook up my phone, it will play music, podcast, etc from my phone. I can't adjust any settings or additional climate controls.
  7. Windshield Spray Nozzle

Drive faster, then activate the windshield sprayer. I know that sounds like a joke, but I think Ford aims them high intending them to be used at speed. I know that some people intentionally pull in front of others at 20-30 mph and activate their sprayers with the intention of dousing the...
  8. Backup camera starting to fail

My display fails in normal operation (either freezes or is black), but when I put the Ranger into reverse, the backup camera always comes on. 😟
  9. First aid supplies

There is this company, https://www.narescue.com/ that makes some good stuff. I have noticed that they have started marketing first aid kits that are sold on "Guntuber" websites that are pretty well equipped for dealing with injuries expected on shooting ranges. They seem to have the supplies you...
  10. Grand Teton NP Help

Visiting the Museum of Clean was unplanned, but worth it. We stayed overnight at a nearby Holiday Inn Express that was really nice. Now my wife only wants to stay at Holiday Inn Express.
  11. Grand Teton NP Help

And you can park the Tremor in front of this photo-op if it's not too far off the beaten path.
  12. Grand Teton NP Help

Wait... You are driving from Arizona to Grand Tetons? You will pass through Pocatello, ID. Visit the "Museum of Clean."
  13. Grand Teton NP Help

I took the family there last August and we had a great time. I wanted to avoid Jackson Hole. We stayed in Victor, ID at the Cobblestone Hotel. It is a newish hotel, clean, with friendly people. It was cheap compared to Jackson Hole. You will still have to pass-through Jackson Hole, and all the...
  14. Terrible tire story

My wife has a CRV and I've learned, the hard way, that the tires on the right and left side need to match exactly. Even 1000 miles of wear, on only one side, is enough to trigger the tire light.
  15. And Just Like That

I travel for a living and I've rented more than a dozen Ford Rangers over the last few years. I can't recall that any of them had HD radio. I'm not saying that HD radio isn't available on a Ranger, only that it is very uncommon. I'm guessing that it's only available with the B&O system. I did...
  16. Gun mount options behind the rear seat?

It is nylon rope that I got at Harbor Freight on clearance for about 87 cents.
  17. Gun mount options behind the rear seat?

I agree. The firearm pictured in the above post is placed there for transport only. The only firearm that stays in my Ranger is locked in a safe and my truck is parked in a garage at my home and a secured lot at my work.
  18. What are the 3 mounts behind back seat

I still have the nylon rope back there. Only I've been using it for all kinds of things. Of course guns, but also umbrellas and fishing rods.
  19. 265/70/18 and Ford Performance Tune

Yes. You will be able to adjust it using the programmer that comes with the tune. In fact you don't even have to have the tune installed to make this change. You will adjust using Revolutions Per Mile (Revs/Mile). On my truck, I looked up my Revs/Mile for my tires on Tiresize.com by looking...
