Uneventful. Can’t tell any difference.

I don't know if this is a screw up or what, but since my update the extremely annoying HONK HONK when you have the key in your pocket & shut either one of the front doors has stopped. Super Happy, hope this stays & isn't some fluke...

Woah! I hated that feature. I will have to check if my truck stopped doing that.

You can disable the Honk-Honk with Forscan. It was one of three changes I immediately did (the other two were disabling the fake engine noise and requiring a double click on the key fob panic button).

And randomly, it was fine several hours later. Weird.

All right y’all. Be very careful with this update. I installed it, things were weird, then straightened out a little bit later that same day.

Exactly two weeks later, I was involved in a single vehicle accident in which my truck rolled and is likely totaled.

Coincidence? ??

Why does Ford make updating SYNC such a custerfluck ??

Entire process should be simple by following well-written instructions . . . oh wait . . .

Oh man I couldn't agree more the update page is just awful with some buttons to click and small arrows for pull downs. Then, the .zip archive is some odd Windows only type archive which requires one to use "the unarchiver" or one needs to rearrange the files on the USB like the autoinstall file wants. As someone who deals with .zip files a lot on Unix, Mac and Windows I made the mistake of just unzipping the files and then moving them around and it wasn't until I looked at the autoinstall file that I realized that all the .tar.gz files need to be in the SyncMyRide directory.

Someone needs to get to Ford and have them fix this. It shouldn't require a specific piece of software just to properly unzip a file.
