Oh man, listen to the new Ranger Raptor with downpipes and stock exhaust, I know he put it in Baja mode so I assume he put the exhaust in Baja mode too which I believe is essentially a straight pipe? You can skip to around 9:15 to hear the sound.

i prefer the sound of the 2.3 but im also someone that will always take the sound of anything over a v8 i could careless about a muscle car......
only v8s that sound good are high end cars that scream!

I was born mid-nineties so I understand the V8 die hard guys and I also understand the younger guys that don't give a crap about "the sound."

Any of these trucks with an exhaust sound like Honda Civics.....in my opinion...I think they make a good and tough looking truck sound "ricey"......again, my opinion.

ive slowly got to get over the v6 noise of the 3.5, sounds good at idle, but its not pleasant, but not terrible.
The 2.3 didnt sound bad, but it was just noise to me. I put the mbrp on mine and kinda made it deeper, but mild overall.
The hype with the gen 3 raptor and this i dont get it. Everyone says the gen 3 sound way better, but it sounds like a louder v6 so i just dont get it, maybe people trying to justify the adm they spent on it?

oh? and obviously you are a boomer ey? it really dont matter the generation you know... i know people that are 60s and up who have tuner cars and euro cars and really dont care about a v8 muscle car.... but at the end of the day they can respect what someone has put time and effort into.
