That looks really good, Jacob. I was expecting those flares to be blue when you mentioned sanding and painting them. ? They look great as they are and it suits the rest of the bolt-ons.

Lights, bumper, wheels, grille, chase rack, etc. really give it that “look”.

thanks! im thinking of sanding down the chase rack but not sure since its not exactly the one i wanted if that makes sense lol

i will say thou... those flares suuuuucked so much to install! ive installed a lot of fenders and flares over the time and this design was very much oh its built for the truck! but you have to bend the brackets to work! or drill new holes... so it is what it is and they were only 90 bucks! gotta wire in the marker lights next!

tbh i did think about the blue but since im going for a fake raptor look i figured it had to be the dark grey that the bumper and other parts are. i do plan to pull the front bumper off and touch up some areas and also add the silver section like a raptor bumper has.

Those look like Bushwacker flares - mine were straightforward, too bad yours were a pain. Be careful with the high pressure wand at the coin-op car wash and avoid the billion psi touchless car wash - the rubber piping/gasket could get messed up.

nah not bushwaker last i saw they no longer make the raptor style flares.

ive had bushwaker flares in the past and had no issues with them and the gasket but i also drilled 40 something holes and bolted it to the body of my tacoma lol

havent taken many pics with everything done like it is yet. but took these two to show how the tires sit about flush with the flare. if i had a 295 width tire i think they would be pretty dead on with a bit of poke

woke up to winter storm 2 electric boogalo!

this is how it looked leaving for work to drop the gf off first at 5am!

(also i reallly need to put an amber cover over those fog lights... the yellow is to greeny yellow lol)

they are saying we will get 8-10 inches today idk if that will actually happen yet thou! overall roads were fine and was able to cruise in at 55mph in the fast lane without interruption minus two times on the highway near my work when two people decided to be the highway police and jump in front of me and another vehicle to have us slow down...

but we went to price chopper out here and my truck fits very snug in the spots. So my bumper if I pull into a spot is right on the line or right behind it by a smidg. Today we parked and were talking about what we were going to get for dinner. Some lady with her elderly mom and her kids pulls up in this ghetto Chrysler all beat to shit and I noticed oh they are not stopping? And then bump... She used my truck to determine where to stop and then back up to the right spot... I get out and confront her asking really? She gets out looks and starts to walk away it's fine right? No issues? Lady you just hit my truck... Yes the truck is fine but an apology is in order here... Is that really necessary? Uhh ya you hit me when I was parked and thankfully no damage to either out vehicles.... She proceeds to walk away until her elderly mother gets out the car asks me if everything is okay and then gives her an ear full to her daughter... Good lord!
