awesome! i like places where you can explore at the pace you pick and look around instead of just going in a long line of people in off road parks. i was hoping you were going to say it was in southwest Oklahoma so it would be closer to me.@9zero1790 Ozark National Forest in Arkansas. Trying to find a weekend to go back in the next couple months.
I love National Forest land. Plenty of maintained campsites, plenty of trails, and you can camp in most places you find since its public land. The Ouachita National Forest is a bit (small bit) closer to you and is pretty nice too.awesome! i like places where you can explore at the pace you pick and look around instead of just going in a long line of people in off road parks. i was hoping you were going to say it was in southwest Oklahoma so it would be closer to me.
I mounted mine up there too...Trigger came out with a universal pedestal mount for the switch body. At first I had them stuck right about the shifter with command strips but wasn't sure how I felt about it. Seemed a little cluttered. Then I moved it to the overhead console but the heat caused the command strip to fail so its just been in the little cubby where the usb plugs are. I'm going to mount it to the overhead console. I think it gives it a clean look and keeps it out of the way. It can be mounted with screws but I'm going to try the 3M VHB it came with first.
Not a bad mount but I think its a little expensive for what it is. After shipping it was about $30 and it didn't even come already put together. They do include all the screws and a tiny screw driver but I recommend using a better screw driver to avoid stripping the screws.
How did you end up attaching it? I eventually moved it to the dash tray. With the mount it was just too bulky. If I had a 3d printer I would like to have a small wedge mount that would angle the switches down when mounted where you have itI mounted mine up there too...
I mounted the base magnet plate to the trim with 3M VHB tape so the switch can be pulled off for remote use...I'm still working on direct wiring the base plate...the angle to me is good as is because the toggles need to move forward/back...tilting the switch doesn't add to the function...How did you end up attaching it?
