Oh I know haha! Agreed the 3rd Gen just wasn't it! We looked at a few thinking of going to a newer one but we just never liked them! We thought about another ranger but I personally can't trust the 10r80 again... I agree they should have put a better engine in the truck instead of the 3.5...

Yaaa the 4th gen isn't doing so hot! It's ugly and personally I do not like it! We drove one looking at trucks with more capability and power. The interior sucks .. it feels so cheap!! The power felt like my old ranger but also awkward? So we passed plus so much money for a TRD off-road! ATM on the old tw a lot have had trans failure and a few motor failures already...


Life has been way better! Right around the time I went to Colorado in 23 I started talking to my now gf and moved her from Texas to Missouri! So we spend a load of time on my cruiser! So the bike you know about was my old Kawasaki supermoto I have sold that for a new 2023 klx300r Enduro bike for more off-road single track stuffs. The bike we ride now is my 2014 Yamaha bolt r-spec! Bought it with 4300 miles in late May and it's almost at 10k miles!

Glad everything is going well for you and your gf. You're in MO now? We just moved to NW Arkansas in June and I'm right on the MO border near Pineville. We really like it out here and while it's a little cold now we just couldn't take the brutal AZ summers any more! ? People are so much nicer here and we kind of missed having 4 seasons.

Yeah new gf's have a way of taking you away from everything. lol Sounds like you're happy and that's all that matters! Hope you stick around and don't let her keep you from your R5G family lol....

Thanks! I've always been in Missouri born and raised here sadly haha. Oh wow! That's a big change congrats on moving down there! It's a really neat and pretty area! Ya 4 seasons are a must for us! The gf hasn't had snow in her life for many many years so she is loving the snow! Ya those Az summers sounded brutal!

Haha ya they do! It helped me focus on things and go back to how I was years ago! Yup big time! Life honestly turned around for both of us when we met on a video game haha. I'll try to! I'm still active on tw for the motorcycle thread but that's about it anymore haha. I'll try and remember to post in here once and awhile!

2023 klx300r with a dual sport kit installed on it. (normal these dont have lights)

then my diamond in the ruff tbh! 1 owner 2014 yamaha bolt r-spec 950 bought with 4300 miles with a crazy service history showing it was well loved for in the years the gal owned it. never thought id own a cruiser but maaan i love this bike! the photo of it is actual after the truck was hit by the deer! i still wanted to do the adventure ride so i took all my bags and gear off the dirtbike and put it on my cruiser! i took it through fields, mud, gravel roads, and a few hill climbs! bike didnt even care haha.

Nice pair of bikes Jacob! You just can't beat the fun and adventures you get on a bike! Man I do miss riding so much but with all the distracted drivers now (they were bad then too) I just don't want to take a chance on the road anymore. Plus my lightning reflexes aren't what they use to be. lol All my friends pretty much gave it up too but before they did they all switched over to cruisers (from sport bikes) and wish they did it sooner.

thanks! ya you really cant tbh! we want to do more trips on the bolt this year but it needs new seats and rear shocks haha.

yaa we have talked about it if we have a close call that freaks us both out then we will stick to dual sports and dirt riding mainly. we have had a lot of close calls but ive always been able to control it and keep it from getting bad thankfully.... but there has been a few that have worried me but nothing that has fully scared me away from riding just yet.

ive ridden a couple sport bikes from friends and they were tons of fun buuut i didnt really control my self on them so opted for something not stupid fast and just for something fun to cruise around in and have fun at lower speeds.

Set of wheels for the truck. Gotta powder coat the black outer lip and do the clear coat then they will be done.

wheels are done! we had a few imperfections but for doing powdercoat our first time and with a cheap harbor freight gun they came out really well! id like to get my own setup once i get my little barn setup in the back yard to redo these one day!.

got the bolts cut and bolted onto the wheel for the faux beadlock look that this wheel comes with. i wanted a set of gold or grade 8 color for the bolts but couldnt find any in the m8 size i needed so these silve bolts will work for now.

had to cut down 64 bolts and fix 15 threads to get them to work and now they are bolted down with a little bit of lock tight so they hopefully! dont come out! next is to get lug nuts and center caps to mount them since the center caps the wheels came with are not for these and dont work at all...

appreciate it! there are some imperfections here and there but overall for not spending much id say it came out well! now i gotta measure and find a center cap that works lol
