And if you knew anything about oil capacities over filling is worse than underfilling. Would not recommend this what so ever.I changed mine today. 7qts of 15w40 Delvac heavy duty diesel oil. The extra .8 puts it very slightly overfilled. Just above the second hole in the dipstick. No crank strike or cassette foaming to be concerned about if overfilled by 0.8qts.
~59k miles. 15w40 and 5w40 diesel oil since new.
More is not always better. Goes for viscosity as well as quantity. And if you knew anything about oil capacities over filling is worse than underfilling. Would not recommend this what so ever.
I will agree. Its one thing if you have a hogher capacity oil pan, but I'm not even aware if such is available for the Ranger. That said its most likely not necessary either.More is not always better. Goes for viscosity as well as quantity.
I'm pretty sure if they did make one it would be bigger than an extra 0.8 quart.I will agree. Its one thing if you have a hogher capacity oil pan, but I'm not even aware if such is available for the Ranger. That said its most likely not necessary either.
