I can not believe this argument is still going on, yes it has become an argument. Also the are a lot of assumptions being put out there with no actual facts to back them up.

@Frenchy what PROOF do you have to make the statement that the OEM filter does not work just as well with the deep pan as the OEM pan? Is it just your assumption because the intake is not at the bottom of the pan. In most cases the pickups are put in a deep section of the reservoir but not at the actual bottom.

I will grant you that the aluminum pan, deep or shallow will probably only make minimal difference in long term temperatures. Which by the way is controlled by the heat exchanger using engine coolant. The deep pan with it higher capacity will take longer to reach that temperature. Again a probable minimal difference. The main advantage to the extra fluid is extra lag time for the fluid in the pan to gain some additional cooling from the fins and more time for any particulateatter to settle out before it gets pumped back through the transmission. The fact that there is more fluid below the filter pickup also helps this.

Since the filter is submerged to the same level below the top of the fluid with any of the pans makes the whole starvation a mute point. If your fluid is not at the correct level you have bigger issues to worry about no matter which pan you have.

Finally if you are off-roading and high center on a rock that will take out the deep pan then you need a better skid plate package, because it would have taken out the OEM plastic pan also
Take some time to go to the past. This includes both GM and Ford. For different applications primarily with trucks and vans they did offer both a standard and a deep pan for different applications. Along with the deep pan they required a different filter to accommodate for the lower pickup. There's your proof. Not good enough? Tough s***

I think i'm going to go with standard PPE pan, an upgrade with not a hint of a downside.

Stage 3 has the standard pan
Rockautos got the filter and the fluid
Don't forget the Lubeguard Platinum (silver bottle) I think a 10oz bottle should do it.
Thanks for the list. 👍👍👍😎

And what about below the filter? How much you want to put on the line that the deep pan is at the same exact level as the standard pan at its lowest point? I'm talking about when the fluid is below the filter, not above it. You are clearly not understanding
It doesn't matter how deep the pan is it's still the same.

Only way to stop this is put Frenchy on ignore. Did that my first week on this forum. Was going to have to leave otherwise! He thinks he knows more than god. Best of luck to you.

You are going to have to specify how it's the same when it's clearly different.
It doesn't matter how deep it is the level doesn't change yes it has more oil but the pan doesn't change the level are you not mechanicaly. inclined

If you get a deeper pen you will need to have a filter that matches the lowest level of pan. It's not complicated to understand.

Also you want to claim I'm not mechanically inclined? I have just over 12 years of wrenching experience under my belt. These 12 years of experience include certifications from Nissan, Ford, Hyster/Yale Forklifts and Crown Forklifts. Keep in mind that I'm still wrenching professionally as we speak. I also have training from before to help myself understand the inner workings of different things on an engineering aspect. If I don't understand something, I take time to understand it. Not real hard to do.

Jesus, how insecure are you that you feel the need to throw that stuff around every time someone questions your knowledge. You've been PROVEN wrong time and time again, once by me, in video form.

How's that BMS testing going that you put me on ignore for?

Either you did it and you figured out you were wrong and were too insecure to admit it, or you still believe the same wrong old shit.

Your certifications don't mean jack shit when you keep spewing BS all over the place and asking the mods to 'make this a sticky' when it is something so patently obvious that Helen Keller could grasp the concept in 60 seconds, or it is something so dumb that no one cares.

Christ almighty, give it a rest and get over yourself. The fact that half of the members here have put you on ignore should be what they call 'a clue'.

It is NOT about what you can see, it is about what we don't have to endure. I'm done with interacting with you. For me, ignoring is the best option.

Bye Bye!
