Well guys, I'm still around! Been awhile since my last post but I received some news today from Belltech that I thought might interest you. After reading some of your posts about their recent release of front struts, I wrote to my contact there. Below is her response.

Hello Frank,

It finally looks like we are getting ready to release the 2/4" kit for the 2WD Rangers.

Our official release date is scheduled for June 15th.

Your complete satisfaction and delivering an exceptional experience are our number one goals here at KW Automotive.

Have a wonderful day!

Could it be? Are they finally gonna do it? Set your alarms for three weeks from today!
Frank--Could you let them know we have a list of 51 people that are wanting to lower their Rangers. Most are probably 2WD, but there also some folks, like me, who want to lower our 4WD's too. Thanks !!!

Hey Mike. I've been telling her that since my first email to her. I've told her about the forum and typically ask her if she is cool with me sharing her responses; don't want to get her in trouble with boss man for sharing something she shouldn't!
Looking forward to seeing their product.

Any Idea on the Cost?
and does this involve a new set of springs ?
Regards
Looks like you will re-use the coil springs up front. Not sure about the rear. Really hoping that the rear drop doesn't drastically affect the tow/haul rating of the truck. My guess is that the rear will be a flip kit with some sort of drop brackets or shackles to maintain suspension travel without bottoming out. Should come with shock absorbers for the rear.
As far as cost, I would guess that the price will be reasonable. The front struts are only $97 a piece. I wouldn't think the rest of the kit - the rear - is overly expensive.

I have the struts. Nice looking pieces. The adjustment is made by step rings that slide over the strut tube. The struts come with three rings for various ride height selection. I will not be using the rings and will go with maximum lowering which is supposed to be 2.80 inches. Depending on how it settles in, I may choose the trim the springs a bit to drop it a bit more. I suppose I should post a couple of photos. I will do so shortly

Thanks for posting Kevin! They do look good. I will wait for the entire kit but definitely saving up for the purchase. What's your plan for the rear of the truck?
I had planned on building my own pieces, but the time I spend on customer jobs has not allow me to do so. I'll purchase the necessary pieces from Belltech once they trickle in. I've been checking a couple of times a day hoping that they show up. Possibly a sway bar when it's all said and done
