I’m so ready for this kit! No more grandpa ride.
Now wait a minute! Some of us ARE grandpas or at least old enough to be one!
Some of us "older gentlemen" like lowered rides also! :sunglasses:

All good! I think everyone is ready for this! :like:

Haha sorry! I guess I should’ve worded that better! It’s not even the height that bothers me. The front is a decent height that I could deal with (atleast for a while) It’s just the rake in the back is way too extreme. Now I have a 69 nova and I love a good raked stance just as much as the next guy, but it’s just too much on the ranger.

Latest from Belltech contact; received late yesterday.

Hello Frank.

I just got an update that they plan on doing the release sometime next week for the 2/4" kits.

For you fathers, it looks like a belated Father's Day gift this year! :like:
Thank you for the update, Frank!

I agree, I don't want to change the front. Just lower the back a couple inches. I tow a camper, just don't like the rake empty. I think that 4 inches may be too much. Probably need to add some 1 inch shackles to lift it back up a little.

I am probably the only guy on this site that loves the factory rake. I think it looks bad and beefy along with the high bed sides and wouldn't want it any other way...maybe this is an old school thing

It's a truck. It's built to handle weight without dragging the bumper. I bought it for it's functionality. I didn't buy it for Starbucks. To each their own.

What's the title to this thread again? Oh yea, "Anybody planning to LOWER their 2019 Ranger?" You are exactly right. "to each their own".
BTW, I don't drink Starbuck! :like:

I'm with you on that but also am big on cosmetics :)

Several months ago Josh, a young relative of mine, found some large building blocks discarded in an Arroyo. Him and I lugged the 38 blocks out by hand about a city block length along the bottom of the Arroyo and then up the steep concrete side of the Arroyo (15-20 ft. deep) and into the Truck bed. Disappointed that no access to get the Ranger down into the Arroyo to use the 4X4. We hauled the blocks out in two loads and the Ranger carried them like a piece cake to my house. The blocks weighed 52.5 lbs. each which made each load approx. 997 lbs. I cancelled my scheduled home gym workout because my shoulders and forearms were very sore that day
