Belltech customer service is just plain terrible. They are unresponsive, and uncaring of your problems. It is up to you, the customer, to push them along to a resolution.
Mine is rear wheel drive. Belltech flip kit and lowering struts. Had a small vibration during strong acceleration. Installed 2 degree shims which almost eliminated the vibration. I have some 3 degree shims Iām going try. No vibration other than during acceleration, even at 80+ highway cruising.
Eibach springs!!! Are those stock height? Iām here to tell you the stock springs on Belltech lowering struts makes for an interesting ride. Wayyyy better than a lowered import car ride, but still not great.
The ride is always going to suffer when you lower a vehicle. Five inch drop in the rear feels ok, but the 2.5ā drop in the front is abrupt and somewhat bouncy. I am hoping someone will offer a drop spindle.
Those emblems are the best thing ever. So happy I took a chance with them. https://www.cjponyparts.com/name-plate-bedside-ranger-f-100-1967-1969/p/EMBS10/?year=1968
Stock bumper. I think itās just the angle of the picture. And please donāt give me any ideas! I think Iām done messing with my truck. Itās just the way I want it (for now?āāļø)
Nearly five month wait due to the shipping backlog. These are Rays wheels from Japan. 18x8 +38 offset 19.6lbs. General Grabber UHP 255/55r18.
Combined weight 50.8lbs vs 58lbs stock with 10,000 miles tread wear.
As you can see, this is strictly a street truck. No overlanding for me.
According to ARE the topper weighs about 165lbs. Definitely not going to sag the rear an inch. Nothing in the bed besides a plastic Ford bed liner and a rubber mat.
correct, 3ā and 5ā. New wheels and tires are different size than stock 255/65r17. New wheels are 18x8 +38mm offset with 255/55 tires. Went from 30 inch tire to 29 inch tire.
On the driver side the rear is about 1/4ā lower (factory lean). As was pointed out, the shell(cap, topper) does make the...
I had a slight vibration only under moderate to hard acceleration. I put in Belltech 2 degree shims which nearly got rid of the vibration. It is very small now. I was curious to what shims you used. I am on the fence about going to 3 degree shims.
Iām running the Ford tune plus a Pedal Commander. Even with the tune the throttle response was too laggy for me. The Pedal Commander really woke up the response. I have to be mindful
about how quickly I get into the throttle or the truck jumps like it was bit in the ass by a Pitbull.
