My Ranger is my second vehicle tuned by LMS and no issues with either, after about 80k total miles. 93 performance tunes on both vehicles.

Try calling them and asking if they received everything. When I did that they sent the tune right back over to me within a few minutes.

You get to keep all 5 of them and they have free lifetime updates too. Also if you sell your Ranger and get another vehicle that they tune they will reprogram it for free. You just pay for the shipping of the tuner back.

the only problem with livernos is there tuner is theirs only. can't get programs from other tuners, and customer services is not there, came for a different ecoboost platform and seen the un quality work that livernos did , go to this forum and start reading .. https://shoforum.com/ and there machine work is not to par either lots of sho boom going on from livernos..

IDK but I (and many others) have had great customer service from them but I'm sure like any company they have their bad days too. Besides Dennis @Dr. Zaius who's Ranger was bricked from a Livernois tune everyone here who's installed it has been happy and trouble free. I've been running mine (hard at times too) for 2 years and it's perfect for the driving I do which is normal day to day driving with some WOT here and there.

I did mention Unleashed in my first post and he's great too. Only thing I didn't like is there's no phone support and only email support. I like the fact that I can call Livernois and get answers and not be going back and forth through emails trying to figure something out. But everyone's different and that works for some, just not me. ?

They tighten up the shifting some but on the 91-93 performance tune you can definitely feel the shifts still. Especially in the lower 3-4 gears.

If I had to choose between 5Star or Unleashed it would be Unleashed. Another good choise is Livernois. Its your call

The way to soften shifts is more slippage. More slipping, less life.

I’ve had the tune for a week now and I regret not getting this sooner. Very simple to install and once the stock tune is backed up, it only took about 5 minutes to install the tune.

While some here drive the tow tune daily I didn't care for it either. I've been running the same as you, the 91-93 soft shift tune for over a year and really like that one.
