I’m following this reply to make sure you keep posting after tasting ULVIt might look like cherry, but it doesn't taste like cherry!
Check it when it is cold, it is far easier to see, doesn't flow as fast, and just as reliable.Installed mine yesterday before swapping filter, fluid, and adding lubeguard.
Perfect fitment, barely cursed once during the install (heat shield on cat has sharp edges).
My only complaint is that the ULV fluid is so thin that my near sighted eyes have to get close enough to lick in order to see the level. haha
I'll give that a shot later today. ThanksCheck it when it is cold, it is far easier to see, doesn't flow as fast, and just as reliable.

Yes it's thin, but it doesn't take much quantity to make it appear very dark in a container. At least after a few miles.Installed mine yesterday before swapping filter, fluid, and adding lubeguard.

Makes sense. For the same reason you don't change your oil when it's cold. I don't have to change it that hot, of course, but I want to get as much out as I can each time I do it, so It's going to be at least 130° when I do. ?
Check it using the cold method, you can easily see it then. Let your truck sit level over night, start it, run from Park to Sport and back at 5 second intervals, then immediately check the dipstick. Don't wait... check it immediately.Yes it's thin, but it doesn't take much quantity to make it appear very dark in a container. At least after a few miles.
Actually I have made progress, but only for the left side fill plug models, I have the template for the back of the head and I have the initial mock up setup.@Fitzmotor It's been a minute since I've bugged you, but any news for the F-150 5.0 Fitzstick ?
My wife's ST is a 2026 if it came with one then it is there. She won't let me mod this truck, but I can make my maintenence easier. I'll look this evening and see if it's there. The Explorer engine is too far back under the cowl to mount it to the engine, I am using the shock tower to mount the top bracket, so it's not engine dependent.
Do you have the stock shock tower brace?
