Local Ford Dealer adding $10K to all Sticker Prices!!!

If I may ask, who is the one marking everything up? I would bet the one that is bone dry is Theodore Robbins Ford. They are trying to spread the vehicles they have around so that they look like they have something to sell.

HB was ridiculous when I was shopping, yet were annoyingly incessant on follow up. Multiple emails and phone calls a day, including two calls and two emails just while I was waiting to sign paperwork. I answered one of the calls and when I told them I was just waiting to sign for my truck the guy asked "how much over MSRP are you getting it for?" When I told him nothing he said "see if that deal goes through". Sent him a picture before I drove it off the lot. Puente Hills was just as bad.

One local Ford dealer inventory is bone dry, another has the front lot full. Why: All the cars, including Rangers, Broncos, Explorers, Mustangs.... have an additional sticker adding $10,000.00 to the price.

I purchased a Ranger that was in transit to Chino Hills Ford on 10/19 after contacting or visiting 14 dealerships in the Orange, LA, Riverside, San Diego County area. No markup and $2000 off MSRP, also got 37% of original purchase price as trade-in on my 2003 Ranger.

Agreed. the only hummer was the 1st w/ drop spindles, used by our armed forces. All the follow ons are just fat expensive mockups.

Probably 2023. Lots of quality issues on 2021's and 2022's across the board.
My cousin owns a repair shop and used car lot. He says there are going to be major quality problems with those two model years. He got a new 2021 Silverado for himself and had to get a new engine at 13,000 miles. He says stay away from them and he's never going to buy any at the auctions, just problems waiting to happen.

My friend was going to buy his daughter a new civic. He called the salesman he always went through an told him he wanted a new civic lx an gave the vin of the Merc Milan he was trading in. He emailed a quote back with a 10K mark up on a 23K car. The dealership only had 2 available so they were adding a 40% markup. He bought a new car for himself an one for his wife every 3 or 4 years an got all his kids a new car for graduation an they may have lost him as a customer for good.

10K on a 60K bronco is a little more understandable than 10K on a 23K economy car. Glad I bought when I did.

I got a call from my dealer last week offering me $35k for my truck (paid $29k for it) -- its just crazy I wish I could take advantage of it but Id just have to go buy something else
