I know its been done with the TBC install to access the CHML.

I think you should be able to just lower the rear section by:
Pulling the Grab Handles
Pulling the Seat Belt Retractors and (C-Pillar) Panels
Then drop the rear section of the Headliner via 2 clips

This should allow enough room to inspect but if you need to pull the Trim Rail and reseal the mounting (attach) point - there may not be enough flex in it without pulling the front as well.
Hopefully it will flex enough to add some sealant at that mount without having to remove the front attach as well.

I am sure its leaking from the rear attach point (stud) on the roof trim (Posted Above

The YouTube video for the Sherpa roof rack install covers how to remove the headliner. You can only take the steps that pertain to the rear portion you're trying to remove. B/C pillar and grab handles should be all you need.

Lowered the headliner the other day to continue my investigation of my leak. What I found was the trim screw showed no water staining, but I did find some back by the window.

After this I decided to focus my investigation to the window and the 3rd brake light. The brake light was going to be the easiest thing to check. So I pulled the brake light and this is what I saw.

Looks like some kinda frame work was channeling the water to the corner of my headliner. Didn't even consider the construction of the roof would have frame work:crazy: Of course I've never dealt with a leak before either.

So now I have to decide if buying a new lens is going to be cheaper than my deductible and the down time of not having my truck vs. doing it myself.

Cool, glad you found the source.
But does the light assembly or seal appear damaged / deformed?

It may have just been the screws not fully tightened and allowing the water to seep past the seal / gasket.

One of the screws did seem to back out easier than the rest, and the seal (gasket) did not look damaged. I'm thinking along the same line you are at this. I didn't clean the sealing area or anything else for that matter before I reinstalled the light just in case I took in to have it done under warranty, I didn't want to remove any of the evidence of the leak and I had to get ready for church.

I looked up the price of a new lens and I think I'm going to do this repair myself.

I'm going to go ahead and clean the sealing surface and the seal and possibly put something like 303 on the foam rubber gasket to help maybe recondition it some.

Think the 303 will help the seal to swell some ?

The 303 wont help with swelling. If it did I'd have been using it for the last 4 years. 🤭

It will help keep the rubber conditioned and keep it from deteriorating and breaking down from the suns UV rays. My rubber seals and roof rails are as new as the day I bought the truck without any peeling.

I know I really like it on the interior. Doesn't seem to off gas like others putting that nasty film on my windshield. and my dash doesn't get as dusty:clap:

I did go back out and remove the light again and cleaned the seal and sealing surface. Then took an acid brush and applied 303 to the seal, and it soaked it up like a sponge (wonder why)🤭
I'll try to stop by a car wash later today and see if my headliner remains dry.

As far as the swelling goes, put some ice on it.🥶
