Around 5000 miles, the alternator may or may not have died during some slick adventures which should not have been undertaken in a stock 2wd ranger. Alternator was replaced under warranty no questions asked. No problems since. (I put down "No" for the poll since I consider it 50% my fault)

I had mine in for the warped HVAC plenum repair under warranty last year. In & out the same day, has worked fine ever since. Completed the SCab seatbelt & rear headrest recalls

In December, I brought it in for a front end vibration between 50-65mph, shortly after driving some wet, muddy dirt roads.I had checked all the tire pressures with an accurate dial gauge; all were normal. they said that the wheels were caked with mud and gravel, and rinsed them out, no charge. Been fine ever since.

  • I've had one or more significant/major warranty issues
Brakes failed!
Other then that just recall stuff, on SCAB, headrest & child seat restraint something or other...
25k miles.
Still love the truck.

kind of a yes and no...I was stupid and didn't put my foot down. The alignment was whacked on the front and paid for the dealer to check and adjust it. at the same time I had two new tires put on the front.

of course, after looking at some of the info the alignment could have been absorbed allegedly by warranty claim and THEN so could have some of the cost of the tires. again all allegedly.

part two - don't buy tires from a dealer. Gullo Ford of conroe will NOT come right out and offer a warranty. so when I had a tire that was damaged from road hazard...I took it back. the service writer had the audacity to tell me that these tires do not have a road hazard. I responded saying that I just naturally assumed there would be one on them. he then screwed himself....he said he always offers a RH on tires he sells - this jacka$$ was the one that sold them to me...and it showed in the docs. so I got a replacement tire and earned wisdom...always go to Discount Tire or NTB. Hell even WalMart would have been better than that boondoggle...

As I write this, I checked my KM, via the FordPass app, and I shit you not, 21,212 KM. Zero issues with this truck in the year and 19 days I've owned it.

-messed up paint badly on both rocker panels (drips of paint)
-headliner was not in correctly when I picked up from dealership (I fixed)
-multiple rattles
-3 different visits to dealership regarding fuel in oil (the techs acknowledge it is a problem but won’t/can’t do anything)
-cracked trim piece on sliding rear window. It’s barely noticeable, but they would have to put in a whole new window even though the trim has two screws to take it off. With how much I hear about leaks on here I don’t want anyone touching the rear window.

2020 SCAB. Blew off the 2 recalls as I don’t have issues with ether of them. Put a damper on Natasha day one and ever since been pure bliss. I’m around 28K on odometer right now and factory tires are going to be replaced by end of summer. No life on them at all. My Blackstone reports all come back pretty normal so, 60K to go before tranny problems! ?

Had two batteries go bad back to back and the driveshaft carrier bearing needed to be replaced due to squealing. I wish I could take it in for a repaint as I have about a hundred paint chips and that's with the ceramic coating on.

My 2020 XLT has had no issues from day one, 04/24/20, have 2 months of warranty and/or 200 miles left which ever comes first, driving wife's car as much as possible, hoping for no issues after the magic number passes.....

Only warranty work was for rear headrests. Glad they removed the fixed rest and replaced with the folding ones. Truck was checked for rear child safety restraints and was good. I can deal with minor imperfections but biggest concern, annoyance by far is the random yet violent shudder over 60mph...FYI, approx 81k miles to go unti transmission explodes

Ok, I didn't read all 3 pages, but to someone who has, how many batteries got replaced under warantee?

Other than the recalls(2) Seatbelts ok and the rear headrests changed. The only other thing was my grille was oxidizing and they covered it under warranty. I'm not letting them install it until Spring though. Too much salt and I have black smoked ovals to add at the same time. just over 20200km (12551miles).

Not yet but will be soon to address the weird harmonic hum at 30-45mph Guessing driveshaft or wheelbearing, alignment/suspension inspection (Something is way off on the steering).
