I was wondering, my is back again, fairly long list, trans, Sync, brakes, belt trim, door handle, console lid, the common ones, it's 22k now, and this is the 3rd time back.

I absolutely love the truck, I would even buy it again knowing I could have some problems, it's perfect for me, hauls ass, gets good MPG, drives like a small car, fits in compact parking spots, really important here overcrowded So Cal, it's just a great truck in my opinion, except the laundry list of warranty repairs, unfortunately I have a opposite example in the driveway, the wife and kids have all driven Honda's for years and they rarely go back for warranty work.

With all the Ford quality issues in the media these days, Farley barking at the workers to do a better job, also blaming it on parts supply issues and supplier quality, and all the recalls as well, it's a little frustrating when your vehicle mfg is in the news so much.

So I just got to wondering how this group does, is it one out of ten, one out of a hundred that has had to go back?

I started out just to ask a question, but then I thought "why not try the poll thing" never did one before, so here it goes!

I'm #2 (no smart remarks).
2021 Lariat, 13,000 miles, not one problem aside from the Scab rear headrest recall.
Probably around 5000 miles of total is towing a travel trailer.

Only issue I have is the HVAC box other than that it's been flawless. I just did the DYI fix as I'm not letting them tear my whole dash apart. It's a 10 minute job now twice a year to just manually switch the actuator.

I had to take it in for a leaky side mirror light but otherwise no issues here - almost 4 years and 36k miles.

Had the recall for the rear brake lights but nothing was found.

27K on my '19, only warrenty visit was for the battery. Did have a recall early on for heater fan, but mine was fine. Otherwise no issues, the transmission shifts fine, no vibration or shutter.
Lovin my Ranger.

Mine wouldn't idle properly. Surging and sometimes stalling at idle. Ran great except at zero throttle. They fixed it on the third try. Replaced the ECU and a Sensor (I forget which one).

Free bonus gift: Auto Start-Stop has never activated since the ECU replacement.
One less thing to remember on my pre-flight checklist.

I wouldn't say I "had to take it back", but the only warranty item I had done was a brake bleed when I had it in for service anyway. I might have them replace the e-brake boot. Otherwise it's been a gem.
