I'm fly. I'm pilot.
I didn't mention removing the cat. I even said I didn't want to. And you absolutely can gut a down pipe. I've done it.

I direct you to the 'Vehicles' section of my profile for the other vehicles I have if you question whether I floor it. Your condescending tone of "skinny pedal" is unappreciated.

A clogged cat is done. Period. Ford said it's done, and they're replacing it. No amount of your "Italian Tune-up" will change that. I tow. It gets plenty hot. If it didn't burn off, it wont.

Calm down there sparky, I'm just offering advice. Skinny pedal is not condescending, it's just slang.

I think your "tone detector" need a tuneup too as I was literally just suggesting that it might help to make sure it gets hot once in a while. I suppose from now on I'll do a full background check and DMV search for every forum member that I reply to. I Suppose your cup is already full so I'll spare you anymore advice.

Ehh... at 38k ish i found that they only lean over so far before flopping over to the roof. Not sure if that counts. I'm trying again and only about 10k into my own @39k mi... aiming to maintain >=3 wheels with ground contact.

87k on my 2019, nothing fixed besides an EGR DPFE, and a decent amount of upgrades since day 1 off the lot

Well shoot. I had to open my mouth.

CEL for catalytic converter performance degraded, TODAY. Scheduled to go in on the 21st.
I thought Federal Emission Warranty was 80k or 8 years for Cat and ECU?

Just wondering if anyone’s got a “high“ mileage ranger without having problems. Big or small and picture of your mileage would help legitimize claim. Thanks
2020, 109,000 miles, the only repairs have been rear brakes and rear shocks around 50k and a DPFE sensor around 100k.
Not counting normal replacement items like spark plugs and fluids.
Still on the OE front brakes which in hilly western PA is unheard of.
Surpassed my 1985 Mustang as the most trouble-free vehicle I've ever owned.

My 2021 will turn 150,000 next week and the only “broke fix” so far has been the growling driveshaft center support bearing. I had Ford install a new OEM drive shaft. New Bilstein shocks at 80k. Every service Ford recommends has been done. Complete fluid change yesterday front to back. Can’t complain one bit.

I'm still on my original brakes all around at 75k. Just passed inspection to boot.
