From the owner’s manual on my 2020 XLT:
Once the system is active, the high beams turn on if:
• The ambient light level is low enough.
• There is no traffic in front of your vehicle.
• The vehicle speed is greater than approximately 32 mph (51 km/h).
The system turns the high beams off if:
• The ambient light level is high enough that high beams are not required.
• The system detects an approaching vehicle's headlamps or tail lamps.
• The vehicle speed falls below approximately 27 mph (44 km/h).
• The system detects severe rain, snow
Yea I seen that about the speeds in my manual too, that’s why I was wondering if using forscan I can change the speeds where it gets bright and dim! Thanks for the replies

I'm pretty sure the intent of the speed limitations is to keep the high beams from activating on city streets where you are below those speeds, or should be. If you are in a slow situation where you feel the need for high beams, you can manually cycle them using the steering wheel stalk like always. You can get them back to auto by cycling the stalk again so the A reappears in the headlight indicator on the dash.

[EDIT] I really hate people who drive with their high beams in town.

We don't have door modules. So, any current Forscan changes are not available to modify. I'm talking to people who have a better knowledge of as built to try and figure it out.
I know this is a old thread. But the Ranger folding mirrors are not controlled by a module.

Correct they are controled by the relay which is controled by the switch only. Thus, no auto fold without adding the aftermarket module.

Not related to the last two posts, but I did notice that a bunch of my settings stopped working after I installed the sync 3.4.xx official update last year. My road signs don’t show anymore, and my splash screen reset it’s self to factory even though forscan says it’s still set to raptor or whatever. Anyone else have this issue?

No. All my previous settings remained, including splash screen and road signs.

... rear seat belt malfunction alert? It's not that big a deal cuz once you press okay it goes away until you start the truck again. Having a rear seat delete if you unhook your rear seat sensors you'll get this and was just curious if I could fix this small annoyance. I've completely removed the seat belts and I'm not interested in leaving them connected bundled in the back somewhere as that takes away from a clean install of my project.

Hey All
Question on making changes to the PCM - Does anyone have the GUI or "easy mode" option?

I don't in the current release of FORScan, only hex edits.

Mike, do you have a full version or the 2 month extended "free" version?
