I also got a lifetime powertrain warranty, engine, transfer case, and rearends, but they did make to tell me that turbos are NOT included in that warranty!
I’m same way, it’s hard for me to adjust to it too, it just don’t have that “instant” movement when I nail the throttle, and that’s running good for a big heavy truck u got
I think I’m gonna leave it stock, I just wanted to see what it run, I had 19 Tacoma that ran a best of 10.06 and a 22 frontier that ran a best of 10.00! I probably won’t even take it down the track again, I was just wanted to see what it would run
The local track here always does a good job with prepping the track, the truck worked good, only chirping the tires for about a truck length, not really spinning at all
All runs was with traction control off, and yea a guy with about a 96 z28 was talking about how consistent it was just before I beat him in the semi finals lol, he was spotting me, he dialed 8.88 and I was dialed 9.70, I gotta work on the reaction time and the truck be deadly with it being so...
Yea I got a maverick “street” car that moves out instantly with the front tires about a foot off the ground, so it’s way different driving this truck at the track
The truck runs very consistent, ran 3 9.70’s in a row, and the 9.67 in the finals, air temp was cooler. The truck is hard for me to cut a good light in! Mid track the truck seems to pull good for a completely stock truck with 7000 miles on it
No that’s in 2wd with shifter in s mode and shifting automatically, and it ran 74 mph all night except for that run, that run was actually the finals in the street class, I hit brakes just before finish line but still broke out, and it knocked 1 mph off
Yea I seen that about the speeds in my manual too, that’s why I was wondering if using forscan I can change the speeds where it gets bright and dim! Thanks for the replies
Hey guys I finally got my adapter cable and made a few changes, I have few questions about some things I didn’t see or don’t know where to look, on auto high beam, the lights go to high beam at a certain mph, and when slowing down it looks like they go back to low beam at around 30ish mph, is...
