The worst side effect of the pandemic was governments and business knee jerk reactions that we are all going to be suffering from for a long time to come, MSRP looks to me as acceptable.
I can sell my Transit this afternoon for $10,000 more than I paid for it in 2017.
The New Normal is weird for us Boomers.
That's why I sold my Jeep after only 4 months of owning it. They gave me almost $5,000 more than I paid for it and I really didn't "love" it. I loved the money a lot more.

Yeah...... not something I am looking forwards to
Unless you have a family history of colon cancer I'd do the Cologuard. It's private and less evasive and most insurers cover it for free. If they detect anything then they'll schedule you for a colonoscopy.

That's for sure!

Sorry about your grandma and yes it in your case it would be a good idea to do the colonoscopy. I have serval friends who've had colon cancer and have beat it. The quicker they catch it the better off you are.

I’m not joking here. I use to hate the checkups because of that “moment” but, I’m thankful I did it anyways. They caught my prostate cancer early because of it. After biopsy’s they came to the conclusion that I had a very aggressive form and needed to be dealt with NOW! I was 57 at the time, a little young for that I thought. It does run in my family so I knew sooner or later I would be dealing with it.

So today when I go for checkups and that part of the routine comes up I say, we don’t need to do that anymore remember. Oh ya they say, sorry it’s just a habit…. Not on ME!!! ?

Glad you got it beat quickly! Yeah seeing how terrible cancer is I would much rather have the small inconvenience of the exam, I want to be able to drive my future wife nuts for a long time and spoil my grandkids and take them offroading and flying

Yeah I paid MSRP on mine.
Good luck haggling around here during these times. I was just happy there weren't any hidden fees
I think your best bet on getting a below msrp deal on a Ranger is if you qualify for one of the Ford purchase plans. I was able to get mine for the Ford X-Plan price (I think it was @ $100 over invoice and a reduced doc fee). I was lucky since my wife qualified for X-Plan through her employer. BTW, you can get X-Plan by joining the Mustang Club of America. You just have to wait 90 days after joining.

I posted on 6G that we will be lucky to see the new Ranger on the streets of the US before late 2023 and possibly 2024.
Ford is going to miss the boat on this one and let GM an possibly Toyota beat them to the market with redesigned mid size trucks.

Well to be fair, if people are test driving them, and if the way mine drives is any indication, that would explain why they aren't selling good,. If it wasn't for the 0 % interest and good deal I got on mine I doubt I would have bought it. I look at it in the driveway and love it, then i drive it and the mushy brakes, herky jerky shifting, shuddering, running like a plug wire is pulled when cold make me hate it. Countless trips to dealership to fix stuff sucks no matter if warranty covers it.Oh well that's on me, I should have paid a little more and went with the other truck.Won't be making that mistake again.

That's to bad you're having so much trouble with yours. Do you have another dealer in your area you could take it to? I'm sure you have but also open up a complaint with Ford corporate maybe they can help. If it's that obvious (I'm sure it is) then this lands solely on the dealer not fixing it for you.

Sales are down? Well duh. Dealers don't have them and if you order it takes six months.

Well they stopped taking orders for 2022 already, and they have been idling the plant for multiple weeks this summer. Sounds like the supply chain cannot support the volume Ford would build (and sell) if they could.
