Here is mine from a trip about a month ago. I was running about 70 for most of this drive. Running closer to 80 I see low 20's. Around town is about 19. I am running a tune.
I haven't driven an FX4 so not sure how it compares but I love how my Tremor rides. You feel the road and bumps but the suspension recovers instantly when you hit a big bump and overall it feels like it just floats down the road. Honestly I don't know how it could be better on road driving for a...
I like the Ranger 6G overall and see a few improvements that might tempt me to trade in a year or two. The 2.7 and 3.0 and larger screen and new dash sound and look great. But I'm not happy that they made it bigger than the 5G Ranger. If I wanted a full size I would just buy a full size.
I've had a few minor issues with the software, including the backup camera that stopped working for a few weeks and one time the system crashed whole booting. But these issues have resolved themselves without a trip to the dealer. So far, it hasn't been back. 2022 Tremor with 10.5k miles.
The 6G looks okay to me but I prefer the front end on the 5G. I'm not clear on the other "upgrades" for the 6G however an automatic 4wd mode and a V6 Ecoboost would be the 2 things that might tempt me at some point. For now I plan to drive my current Ranger for several years. Love the truck.
On a recent trip mine reported 21 mpg after 500 miles. This was running about 78 most of the day. Tremor with Livernois tune. I don't think I'll see 24 but still not bad in my book.
Hey Dave! That drive was one day on the road coming back from visiting relatives for the holidays. I was running 78 - 80 and didn't get slowed down much with traffic. And I only stopped for gas and to go to the restroom. I do this trip 3 - 4 times per year.
I don't care for the looks of the Tacome (bland, uninspiring) but the main reason being the Ranger out performs the Tacoma and I prefer the 2.3T over the V6 in the Tacoma and I've read countless complaints about the seating position in the Taco. I drive long distances a few times throughout the...
Road trip home today from vising family. Ran it hard and it never skipped a beat. Loving this truck more all the time. Pretty happy with the gas mileage for the Tremor. Edit: Also running a Livernois tune and I don't think it has hurt my gas mileage at all.
