Umm yea, I see a ton of Ase certified techs with years of schooling transitioning to a factory job. And are lost trying to do it. Totally believable lol. I take my truck to the dealership as long as it is still under warranty. It is just an oil change, after all.
Owned a 19 ranger. Now own new Tacoma.
They both feel the same on full throttle acceleration. The ranger sucked in every way so i got rid of it. Love my new truck, it runs and drives great, unlike the ranger. They are both basically slow, I needed a reliable utility truck, if I want to go fast...
You are legally bound by d.o.t. regulations, irregardless of what anyone thinks. D.o.t. can pull you over for an inspection, same as an 18 wheeler. I wish an endorsement on operator license was required for towing anything over 1500 lbs. I see way too many amateurs out there that think they...
What is there to understand? If you have an outing for members of your brand x club, why should someone that owns a brand z feel he should be entitled to attend? Isn't that the whole purpose of having a brand x club to begin with? We have a classic Ford group, we wouldn't invite someone with a...
I made the mistake of buying a ranger. I recently resolved that issue. What a pile. I really can't say much good about it except it was cheap and got half decent fuel mileage. Grew to hate driving it, especially in winter. I was in the dealership about every 2 months with a different warranty...
Maybe if your eyesight is that bad you struggle to see with modern headlights you could give the rest of us a break and not drive at night. All these shitty halo to led conversions do is blind others, period. Why don't you just get a big ol' led light bar and drive around with it on?
Looks great! Would be cool if someone made something for horn/button facia trim that looked a little sportier too. A good steering wheel definitely makes driving more enjoyable and looks good while doing it.
This makes sense. My truck always seems to run crappy after sitting overnight in the rain, or during driving in rain. Chalked it up to possible condensation buildup in intercooler. This is probably the culprit!
Well she won't do that again. Minor parking lot scrape and she waits around to do the right thing. Then as her reward, you track her down on facebook and posts pics of her on a truck forum? You should just delete that, it is just wrong and actually creepy.
I would guess it depends on your dealer. I also had my truck treated twice at crown, no problems first year, second year i had the pressure sensor fail. Dealer changed it under warranty no problem. I had the crown sticker on window and they never mentioned anything about it causing the failure...
I have something similar going on. Just started at 34,000 miles. Feels like slightly flat spotted front tires almost, can feel tapping in steering wheel. Started in hot weather, too. No clunking, but when i back up over any sort of bumps-uneven pavement, there is clunking in right front wheel...
Not really. It will help with mpg in stop and go traffic, but on the highway it won't. Actually the 8 speed may get better hiway mileage, all things being equal, as there will be less mass and parasitic drag on engine at cruise rpms. Either way, a Trail Boss version is highly likely to be my new...
Well to be fair, if people are test driving them, and if the way mine drives is any indication, that would explain why they aren't selling good,. If it wasn't for the 0 % interest and good deal I got on mine I doubt I would have bought it. I look at it in the driveway and love it, then i drive...
I know how you feel man. I also have been dealing with endless warranty issues since i got this thing. If the auto market wasn't so screwed up it would already be gone. Absolutely the worst driving truck I have ever owned. It seems if you got a good one your ok, but it seems like the roll of the...
Aw, so not everyone likes the same thing?Life would be pretty boring without some variety.Sorry if bland is some of you fella's favorite flavor. Like I said, that's my opinion, and having actually built cars and won trophy's gives me a pretty good insight as to what looks good and what doesn't...
They discovered my truck is doing this at my last visit to the dealership for the umpteen time for yet another warranty repair. Service manager asked if I had any driveability issues after tech test drove my truck after replacing the broken shifter.I said yea, it has never ran or shifted right...
