I just updated mine. I had to update the Windows software twice. Then when I plugged in the ProCal it did some updates, prompted me to login and download the new tune. The new file was AAR.bin.

I think you’ll like it. For me the transmission shifting is more refined, after the initial ”learning”.
about how long is the initial learning?

Really wish Ford would separate the transmission tuning from the engine tuning and put out THAT as an update. I don't care as much for the bump in engine performance, but I think most of us would agree that these transmissions would be vastly improved with some fine tuning. This would also probably keep us from being forced to run 91 octane.

IIRC it already is but you have to call them as they haven't updated their site yet.
Off topic slightly but this is driving me up the effing wall! So many damn parts websites haven't update to show fitment for the 2021s yet. I put my truck into partsengine.ca and the search results go up in smoke.

It's making me afraid to pull the trigger on anything. I can't tell if they're afraid to say parts will fit on a 2021 or if they're just too lazy.

“This Executive Order is granted based on information submitted by Livernois Motorsports & Engineering, including emissions test data.”

It sure looks like they had more to do with it then just the ProCal device. I don’t really care one way or the other just saying it looks like Livernois submitted the data for the Ford tune to CARB.
Could also just mean that Livernois piggybacked off of Ford Performance’s certification filing to the state of CA to get CARB approval.

Anything is possible. There is apparently some kind of business relationship there. Either way, love the Ford tune especially the latest version which really made the transmission work well.

@Rp930 - What are the actual improvements you notice with the update? Rev longer before shifting, firmer up shifts, better engine braking, etc? With the original tune in tow mode (but not actually towing) is as aggressive as sport mode so curious if Ford softened the trans tune or what...

Any experience is appreciated!

First tank of fuel with the FPP tune 19.3 MPG / 100% City Its the newer revision just installed it last week. About par for what I was getting with the Unleashed 93 Performance tune

What made you change from Unleashes to FPP?
