Then you won't be in Ford long. Farely is doubling down on EV's and hybrid. You may not like it, but it's where they are putting placing their bets.

Farley is a government toadie and needs to be fired by the board of directors.

I feel fortunate that being born in 1944 I have lived most of my life in a better America and feel somewhat assured that I will never own an EV.

You are quite a few years ahead of me... but I'm still old enough to guarantee you that I will never own a freaking EV.

Now that does not include any sort of golf cart that may be in my aging future. No doubt mine will either resemble a KW or a Pete.

This was before all the "unknowns" came out. Like range and how they react in cold & hot climates. See anyone can make anything look/sound good until they hit the streets and we see real word testing. They do it with everything it's a marketing ploy. All I'm saying is that EV's, especially in a truck, are way to heavy and have very limited benefits right now and most likely will for a long time. Maybe something small like a Prius or a Tesla would be a better vehicle but most use their trucks to do truck stuff. EV's are so far off from accomplishing this and even Farley found this out when he took a Lightning on his trip last year.

Just like Elon's Cyber Truck which he thought (IIRC) he'd sell several hundred thousand. Last I saw it was only around 12,000. Unless somethings changed I remember Lightning sales are way down too. The price, distance and overall cost of ownership is way to high for the average person. And if anyone thinks they're doing their part buying these because they are "green" I have some nice waterfront property to sell in AZ.

Then let's talk about the battery fires in accidents.

Yes Gasoline burns. Just stop already. Gas fires, automotive sized, can be quickly and easily controlled.
