I may have to demote the old girl to an 87 performance tune soon.

93 is up to $4.30 a gallon in my area (Augusta, GA proximity), which is generally around some of the lowest gas costs when compared nationwide.

On a more hilarious note it seems like Biden stickers are on every pump I go to no matter where I go.

I get ethanol free 91 octane in my area. Cost is $4.15/gallon unless I go to Costco, where it is $3.89. Regular is around $3.65/gallon, but has 10% ethanol.

$3.99 at my local Costco. That's the only place where they don't charge 60 cents/gal more than 87 for it. It's "only" 40 cents more.

Central PA here. The Exxon where I usually gas up with 93 octane is at $4.459/gal.

It's $4-4.15 around here. I changed from the 91-93 tune in Nov to the 87-89 tune figuring I can save a little over the winter an with cold tires an wet slick roads I don't need the extra power anyway. For me it's $10-11 a tank for 93 over 87. About $5 for 89 over 87. When it warms up a little I'm going to see how performance feels with the 89 an pick a tune. I don't think I'll swap tunes again. I'll either run the low or the high octane tune all the time.

If gas goes to $6 a gallon if the price difference stays 70 cents it's still only $11 a tank for premium. That's $90 a tank for 87 an $100 for 93. Wallet shocking but the same difference in added costs. Since I retired a tank lasts me about 2 weeks vs at least one tank a week when I was working. I buy less but can't afford the additional costs as well.

I played $3.79/gal for 93 in South Eastern Massachusetts this past week end.

Since I have not been pushing the truck in the upper rpm range I am going back to 87 at least for the rest of the winter.

When I bought my truck 93 octane was in fact just a little over $2 I believe. How long ago was it that we had gas inflation about 10 to 15 years ago before it started coming down?
