My partner bought a '22 Bronco Sport Outer Banks on 1/6/23. It has about 2500 miles on it now and we've taken it on a few trips. She likes it a lot.
I've driven it quite a bit and have some impressions:
1. It's still Sync 3. Good, bad and ugly.
2. We took it off road at the Outer Banks (of...
1 month ago today I traded my Ranger Tremor on a 2022 Explorer ST. I went a couple of years without any real power and had developed a terrible itch. I came REAL close to buying a Mustang GT, but it really wouldn't work as an only vehicle and (slightly) practical me was concerned about the...
I used Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions ceramic spray and it worked really well on the textured black and the rest of the truck for that matter.
A few months ago I gave Griot's Garage 10978 3 in 1 ceramic a try and I like it even better.
Using either product worked great on the whole truck.
Like...
Traded it in on an Explorer ST.
It's a bit of a long story.
The 2024 Mustang 500HP announcement caused a reaction in my gut. It's been a couple of years since I had a "fun" car, so I started Mustang shopping. I came REAL close to buying 1, but had 2nd thoughts about the money and dealing...
I had an Extang Xceed on my 2019 and liked it so much I did it again on my 2021. Install is not too bad. Very little water intrusion and VERY low profile. When fully open it does block the back window completely. It has little arms that hold it up, so it's not touching the truck cab at all.
I'm still hopeful for a Ranger Raptor, BUT
I like everything about the Canyon AT4X Edition 1 but the price. I went ahead and did a reservation for $100, It's very much like what Ford did with Bronco reservations. Supposedly spring 2023 delivery, but I bet it will be delayed a few months...
We moved from MD to DE in December of 2021. My partner was forced to retire due to corporate BS at the same time and her retirement tax situation is WAY better than it would be in MD. I'm able to keep my current job and work from home for the next few years, going in occasionally. We also bought...
We went on a sunset and lighthouse cruise on the Delaware Bay a few evenings ago.
There were low clouds, so sunset happened a little early
This is the Fourteen Foot Bank lighthouse completed in 1886.
This is the Miah Maull Shoal lighthouse completed in 1913.
I'm with Phil, it looks like an osprey to me.
We do have quite a few bald eagles around here though. It's very common to see them, but they are always impressive.
Next to WW2 observation tower at Big Stone Beach on the Delaware bay.
Tower is pretty interesting. It's the only remaining of 5 that were used for fire control for Fort Saulsbury that was closed in 1946.
Here's mine
2020 Road Glide, 114 CI Stage 2.
Like most, I rode dirt bikes as a kid. I didn't get a street bike until I was in my 30s, but have had a continuous love affair with Harleys since.
The secret word is cancel. Once you tell them you're calling to cancel the good offer comes out. Unfortunately, the only way to cancel is by calling.
I've been doing this every 6 months for years.
