Closed the deal with Carvana today and it couldn’t have been easier. Guy came right on time for our appointment. Briefly looked over the truck, checked the VIN and mileage, had me sign 4 documents, and handed me a check. Truck is still in my driveway and he said it would be picked up within 24 hours. The whole process took about 10 minutes.
Was the check for the EXACT amount quoted? And an actual check in hand???

Strange they'd hand you a check, then leave the truck in your driveway and not take it then.

Yep for the exact amount. The check was already preprinted and he handed it to me with my copy of all the documents. He even made it a point to tell me that once I signed the documents, Carvana owned the truck and I was no longer responsible for the truck if something happened.

Just seems strange they'd buy your truck and leave it there. What if it gets damaged in your driveway in the mean while?

I asked him the same thing and he told me they are responsible for anything that happens once I sign the car over to them. Reading on the Carvana subreddit it isn't uncommon for them to leave the car and have someone else pick it up. Makes sense they'd rather not have to train every truck driver how to complete the purchase, they just have to pick it up. Also considering today is Sunday, I imagine they have fewer drivers working.

I had the exact same experience today. Sold my 2019 Honda Civic Si for $600 more than I bought it for new in 2019. The truck came about an hour or so later to pick it up. They even gave me the lockbox code in case I needed to move it!

When I bought my sweet ass Ranger I had a 2015 Nissan frontier. I did use them as leverage against Ford for my trade in value. Showed dealer my offer cause they were only offering about 2000 less than Carvana. They looked, they matched, and I drove home a bad ass Ford Ranger. Ain't nobody getting this baby from me hahaha

Tried getting a quote on my 2 month old Ranger, but all I get is "You've Stumped Us" after everything processes. Gives a 1-800 number to call, but wait time is over an hour. Like the truck but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious... Sold my 2015 Focus to them and was happy with the experience.

Didn't someone say Carvana doesn't have the info on the 21's? They may be too new for the data base

Both Vroom and Carmax didn't come close to the carvana offer on my '09 outback, but every circumstance is different.

Vroom was 35k while Carvana was $37,5XX.
This was my experience.

Vroom offer was ~$2500 less.

Edit: Just checked Vroom again and their offer increased by $1000

Used Pickup Prices Are Skyrocketing

Prices expected to taper off in July.

Might just hang on to mine a bit longer. and try for an additional $1k.

I told my self I'd sell it more than $2k ago.

Nice Rangers are becoming like Dogecoin.

Okay, had to check. Carvana 26k, vroom 31k. 2019 crew xl 9500 miles. I too, don't really wanna give up 0% financing. If I could get a great deal on an f150 for low financing, I'd consider it. I don't see that happening any time soon though.

OK...I decided to try this since my curiosity was getting the better of me.
2019 XLT SC FX4 with 302A and Technology Pkg. 10k miles, SE Mich........$35,210.
I paid out the door - $35,550 (A-plan and during the big end of year 2019 Rebate blitz)
Basically a wash which is very impressive.....BUT.....I also have over $2k of 'mods'.
I'll keep Maggie as I'm really happy with this truck. Now, if this type of offer is still around when the new gen comes out it might be more tempting.
