I sold a 2017 Ford Edge Titanium with 26K miles for my father-in-law to Carvana last September, on the back shoulder of the pre-delta pandemic peak. The Carvana offer of $24,712 beat Vroom by over $1.5K and the local, in-town dealers by $2K-$4K. The entire process was easy, seamless, and quick. The gentleman who showed up in the special Carava car carrier stayed masked throughout the transaction, and the first thing he did was disinfect the interior of the car. After a quick inspection, we spent 5-10 minutes on paperwork and signatures using the cargo area under the open hatch as a desk. He handed me the check, and we were off. It all seemed way too easy, in fact so easy I rushed to get the check deposited just to make sure it was all legit (it was). It sure beat dealing with all the hassles of a private sale. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
