gotta love a vehicle with a chrome package, they paid you nearly $37 for your vehicle ? I bought mine for $34k with 700 miles, and lots of options but none as eye catching as the retro chrome package. I think you did well.

How long did it take after you sold it for it to show up? Still waiting to see what they sell mine for.
About a week. No one could come close to Carvana's price.

It'll be interesting to see how long it takes to sell it at what the final price is.

How do you like the new Ridgeline?

welcome to the Ford customer relationship Center in a few words please

Well, it's still too new but I can say that I like it better than my Ranger at this point. Not because it's the better vehicle but because it's options suit me better All-wheel drive is pretty nice going around sweepers.

Likes
I prefer AWD

Much better ride
Love the bed trunk
Can support a lot of 4X8 plywood FLAT....Wheel wells are recessed.
Swinging tailgate option. Much easier to reach items against the cab.
larger radiator for the AWD
Memory seats/ mirrors
Split back seats so one can be used if needed.
Heated wheel (outside temps will let either heat or AC on remote start)
HUGE flat floor to roof storage behind the driver.
Power Passenger seat
NO need for linex
The BEd has 115volt AC available
Bed speaker works well .
MUch more comfortable seating
6CYL NA engine better MPGs
9 speed Trans
Power rear window
Interior USB ports x4
Comes with mud flaps.
Seat goes back when in park for easy egress.

Dislikes
Wheels (Already replaced with polished alloy)
Moon roof Would rather not have it.
Small spare tire
Overall outside styling not great

Pics show previous bland gray wheels. Replaced with OEM polished Alloy wheels.

I thought the main reason people bought Ridgelines was that bed storage compartment that doubles as an ice chest but I don't see it in your list. The rear seat arrangement in the Ranger could use some improvement, apparently the designers don't care for flat fold down seats.

Hi Tom,

Sorry the Ranger did not meet your needs....Congrats on your purchase! Hopefully in the future there is a Ford Product that meets your need.

Thanks Phil. YOu are an inspiration to Ranger owners here. I'll certainly be looking at the next re design of the Ranger. It p[retty much met most of my needs but the opportunity to sell at a high price really made the decision. The Ridgline is not a "cool" truck.

Actually there is far more room with the seats up, much better situation. rear seats are as comfortable as the fronts and with more legroom and floor to ceiling storage behind the front seats. No transmission hump///

I had one of the original ridgelines....loved it!! when it came time for a new vehicle, I wanted another ridgeline, just could not get past the styling of the new one...looks like a Pilot with a bed. Love the truck, just hate the look.

That's because it IS a Pilot from the back seat forward. I wanted a SUV ride with a bed. Ridgeline ticks all the boxes...Didn't care for the design of the Gen 1 . The current Ridgeline is a better if bland design. I stopped buying based on looks a long time ago. IMO The Tacoma is still the best looking compact truck but waaay too old in the tooth and a terrible engine. I had four of them including the Current model. They lost me with the reliability and dealer support. So we switched from the RAV4 and the Tacoma owned by my wife and I. We have since gone to Honda......

Not that it means much but Motor Trend this month ranked the small pick up category. the Ridgeline was third after the Colorado and GMC Tacoma was near the bottom. As much of the players claim the Ridgeline is not a truck....IT tows 5000 lbs and has a pick up bed,,,,sounds like a truck to me LOL but more important is the ride

Carava offered $35,700 for mine. But could not replace what I had for that price so I kept my Ranger. If I could have gotten a new Ranger for close to that price I would have pulled the trigger quick!

How do you compare the Ridgeline's music system with the Ranger's B&0? For hanging on or around the tailgate? Or inside the cabin on a long drive?
