Carvana is currently a better option for selling your vehicle too instead of a trade in at least in my case for my current car. Giving almost over 1.5k of what a dealer offered.

Here's one thing to consider if are jumping ship on the Ranger and selling it to Carvana, for example.

You will end up paying FULL SALES TAX on the next vehicle you choose, which could negate some of the "savings" you think will end up in your pocket.

The benefit of trading it in, which no dealer will probably pay you what Carvana is offering, is the sales tax savings. You only pay sales tax on the trade difference.

Is that the same for every state? Good info I did not know that

Have you seen the new Bronco in real life and not just TV? I saw my first one the other day and I was surprised how small it really is. My Ranger would squish it like a bug

The new Bronco isn't out yet.

You may have seen the Bronco Sport which is based on the Escape.

The Bronco is based on the Ranger platform so should be pretty similar in size.

You saw the Bronco Sport. The full size Broncos are not even in production yet and should be out this summer.

My 2019 XL 4x4 got an offer of $29,930. My cost OTD was about $27k + a 2003 Ranger that had a KBB tradein value of ~$1500. I was tempted for a split second, but then remembered that I bought it because I really really like it, and right now I can't get anything equivalent for that price.

Oh man!!! I wish I didn’t see this thread. Now I am second guessing myself about getting something else or put up with the risk of future issues such as fuel dilution, driveshaft clunk, etc. May be the best way is to wait until near the end of the 3 yr/36000 mi warranty and see if I still like this truck.
