  7. Outside vents behind rear seat, anybody else have one blocked from the factory?

My 2023 XLT is the same…solid plastic on the passenger side and plastic vent with flaps on the driver side. FWIF I applied sound deadener right over the solid plastic piece since it serves no purpose. The only purpose is possibly a Ford cost-cutting measure.

  10. Battery and Charging

If you have approximately 8 hours to charge, I suggest getting a charger with at least 4-5 amp capacity. Also, since your battery is AGM type, get a charger that’s compatible with AGM batteries. This is what I have. It works great.

  12. Rear shock ?

I had 5100s on my 2020 and 4600s on my 2023. Both had no lift. Subjectively, they felt the same to me.
  13. What did you do to your Ranger today?

The clay bar made a huge difference in removing hard water spots, debris, etc. Visually I didn't see much debris on the clay bar; however I could tell that it picked up a lot based on the before and after touch test of the paint. The body panels felt smooth almost like glass.
  14. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Washed the truck and gave it the clay bar and the 303 Graphene Nano spray treatment. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. The Graphene hype is REAL!!! Also, this was my first experience with using a clay bar, and it was fairly easy. I used the Chemical Guys Clay Bar and Lube kit.
  15. Ford Can't Locate My Oil Leak

My 2020 had an oil leak at 13K miles. The dealer did the UV inspection and said it came from back of the valve cover. They attempted the fix by replacing the valve cover gasket. That didn't fix it. They pulled the cover and inspected it more carefully. Found a hairline crack in the cover itself...
  16. Adding external amp on a 2023?

For clarification, I am referring to T harness (not T taps). Here is the T harness I used on my 2020 XLT.
  17. Adding external amp on a 2023?

Has anyone added an external amp to their 2023 (non B&O, 8 inch screen) audio system yet? I had a 2020 XLT (non B&O, 8 inch screen), and adding an amp to that system was straightforward. I used the T-harness from Amazon or EBay (FOR 11-CK) to tap the OEM head unit’s speaker outputs. Now I have...

Hey, mine had the same oil leak at about 15000 mi. It turned out to be a cracked valve cover. My leak dripped down the back of the engine from the valve cover.
