WTF? I have a loaded Lariat and they only offered me $30K
I think it is probably two reasons, mileage and location. It seems certain areas are paying more than others. For example we are on different sides of the country.

Try Vroom.com too. They offered me $4000 more than Carvana.
I agree to check all if someone is serious. I did and Vroom and KBB were about $5k less than Carvana on my old car. Area is important, so I can see why someone in Maine (egilbe) might be a little boxed in, so to speak. :)

Wow. On my car they were way less than carvana. But, yeah, it depends on location and what they have in stock, etc.

So out of curiosity, I checked again today and it went up to $34915. I am starting to think about taking their offer and getting a Lariat 4x4. Decisions, decisions??
It depends on if you can find the new truck you want on the lot. They are getting few and far between as more of us buy. Stock is running low, and production has basically halted for various reasons. So, if you can find a replacement, then sure. But be sure you lock in your new buy before you sell.

I'm locked in to sell my 2019 XLT FX4 with 9400 miles for $35,052 to Carvana this Sunday. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. Bought in Nov 2019 for $31K OTD. I'm upgrading to a 2020 Lariat FX4.
Good luck. I am looking for a 2020-2021 Lariat 4x4 right now, not putting too much seriousness into the search. Just casual browsing.

I DID IT!

I traded my 2020 XLT 4x2 301A for a 2021 XLT 4x2 302A!

Gained the Black Appearance Package, Spray in bedliner, running boards, 18 inch black wheels and what ever the 302A package gave me.

Ended up getting 32,750 for my 2020 (insane, right).

I left with a 2021 for $1,087!

Got an offer of $28,871 for my 2019 XLT with 14K miles on it from Carvana. I paid $22.5K for it on 12/2/19, but don't think I could get much better than what I have now. Same trucks are $30K+ in my area...

Not this time. No Tremors inbound that aren't sold. They offered to order one for me, but 4-6 month wait. Mullinax has the truck and it looks like Carvana is the high bidder this time for the current truck.

My current Carvana offer expires next Tuesday.

I think I'll wait this one out and run it again next week (unless the chip shortage is suddenly resolved and prices go back down).

If they raise their offer just a little bit more, I may actually bite.

Not that I'm not happy with my Ranger, I'm completely happy with it.

I just don't drive it that much as I mentioned in the other thread.

Less than 50 miles in 3 weeks means it does a lot of sitting.

I've been playing with it for a few weeks. My offer started around $31K, then jumped to $34K a couple of weeks later after I put in an option I had forgotten (Nav). Ran it again 2 days ago and it's now above $35K.

I don't really have plans on trading in, unless the ranger has a hard time pulling the new camper (it shouldn't), so I haven't checked. For giggles though, I went to ford.com to see if there were any incentives on new f150's. Their finance "deal" is 8.9% financing??!! Obviously I could go back through my credit union for a better rate, but what is going on with that 8.9? Makes my ranger at 0% look a whole lot better to me right now.

Not taking a chance on trading my ripe apple & maybe getting a sour lemon. I will only get rid of my apple if it gets rotten. :like: Happy with my investment would not want to change a thing on it. Besides we have seen the new Bronco in the wild & my wife thinks they are cute. Might have a chance with her car if I play my cards wright.:like:
