Apparently, you didn't respond in kind, which is a good thing.

Unless you live under a rock, the vast increase in road rage across America is glaringly evident. Road rage is a self-perpetuating phenomena, when the recipient reacts in kind with another vulgar platitude. There are many reasons for this increase in social violence, but responding to it, is not the answer.

I'm reminded of Teddy Roosevelt... Walk softly, but carry a big stick!

Yell and scream at me with your inarticulate palaver, but if you get violent, beware!

I have never understood the:
Harley vs. Foreign Motorcycle Drama
Jeep vs. Bronco Drama
Ranger vs. Toyota Drama
or...all the other Brand loyalty and brand bashing "drama". We are all on 2 wheels, lets respect each other. We are all 4X4 enthusiasts, lets respect each other and also realize that at various times in history all Brands have made crap and good vehicles.

Where am I going with this, or why?:
Today I was at the local Wally World (heh....they have my Viagra real cheap). When I was leaving and getting ready to open my door I heard a loud and aggressive male voice shout, "Fuc_in Ford Ranger". The shout came from a passing vehicle, a Nissan Frontier pickup, an older model. The voice was loud and aggressive and put me on immediate guard. The fool drove off. What a way to cause unnecessary drama, alarm or confrontation! Why?! Granted I have a cyber orange Ranger and it stands out...but the Ranger is beautiful and stands out. Was he just jealous on the inside? Probably. Asses like this do not realize that we have worked our butts off to afford our rides. These are the same jealous a-holes that vandalize our rides

.

Lets be better then this guy and love our choices but also respect others.

I Had an 01 Xterra, an 04 (Desert Runner), 07 and a 17 Pro 4X and never had an issue with any of them. I miss my Pro4x. They sure like to bag on Nissan here, but I think it's mostly the Taco crowd. Too bad for them though that while they were so busy hating, they didn't see Ford taking over their territory.

The 22 Frontier just didn't appeal to me visually. In the past, I've had an S10, Ram 1500, Dakota, Mazda B2200 and my first truck was a 76 Chevy Luv. Never had a Toyota though.

Also in my garage is a Harley, a KTM and a Suzuki, and they all get along just fine.
It’s easy to hate what you know nothing about. I can only speak to my 2012 Frontier, and can’t really think of anything to hate on. Nine years, 150,000 miles, Canada to Mexico. The person I sold it too has put another 15k on it and likes it as much as I did.

I’ll tell you one thing that Frontier never did: It never left me clinging to the side of a two-lane mountain highway with no shoulder and my hazards flashing, because the truck conked out while towing my camping trailer. This new Ranger just did that three times in one weekend!

I agree on the styling of the new Frontier. One showed up down the street from me a few weeks ago and it doesn't appeal to me. But not really a fan of the next Ranger coming down the line either.

Naw, Just a little joking because of the title of the thread. ?

I think they're good trucks. Not Ranger good but I'd look at a Frontier way before I looked at a Taco. ?
They look sweet and I'm sure you could dress one up very nicely......but I'm fairly sure there is a power problem. We have the power and the Nissan is just not going to give me goose bumps when I hit it hard....

Honestly I never drove one but I would look at all (except the Tacoma) next time I'm in the market. I'm so use to driving a turbo it's hard to go back and not have that turbo kick in. When I was shopping for my Jeep I test drove 2 that had the 3.6 V6 and while they were nice as soon as I drove the 2.0 turbo I knew which one I was ordering. ?

Yes, and in 10 years(or less), people still using TikTok will be the old timers. TikTok will be the MySpace of 2030.
Absolutely.

The Facebook Moms have already seen the end if their homeland and migrated to TikTok. It's only a matter of time.

I never understood the diehard brand loyalists that will literally start an argument (or fight sometimes) with you over their favorite brands. Do they think these companies give a crap about them? I just buy what I like. Today I like the Ranger, next time I may like the Frontier. I have my preferences like everyone else on different things, gun brands, car brands, etc. but I'm not a loyalist to any brand. If I like it, and I feel it's the right choice for me, I buy it. I've had Silverados, Rams, Froniters, Fords, Toyotas, etc. Each brand had their pros and cons. My dad has been a mechanic for 40 years and is all about Toyotas, I never once ragged on him for buying a Toyota, nor has he ragged on me for buying a Ford.

If you include the Ranger finger wave with the TAFFR you could really flip out a Ranger owner not in the know.

Actually, this is the first I had heard of it, kinda cool, kinda stupid, falls in the crude compliment category.

I had an '05 Xterra I traded in for my Ranger. I put 300,000 miles on it with no real issues. Having said that I did work at a Nissan reliability center and I know about a lot of the issues they have had, although I had much worse luck with my Toyota Celica that had far less miles than I did with my Xterra! Every car manufacturer has their issues. It's just a gamble on if you can get 1 that has fewer issues. Lol
