My MIL and wife were having a conversation one day after I had downed 4 or 5 beers and the wife was cranking off about drinking during the day. I piped back that I’m on vacation and that how I wanted to enjoy it! My new MIL clapped back “Well bless his heart”

Here I thought I scored the MIL of all time! Years later I came to understand what that Southern expression means! ?
