I ended up just using Tuck Tape which I had lying around, and it worked great. Taped it from the bottom up so that the overlapping layers would keep moisture from seeping in. I don't have a great picture of it, but as you can see from this one (look on the passenger side, bottom half of the tail light), it did its job through a few heavy snowfalls and assorted storms.

I saw it in person and while it looked a bit sketch, it was doing its job and appeared to be holding up. It sticks to anything like you know what to a diaper so it’s a good interim fix when you have some on hand.

Yeah it fucking sucks! And on the last day of school before summer break 😩 Great way to start my summer break, looking for a tail light.

I found one on eBay for $70, but I’m skeptical. I don’t wanna cheap out on something that’s not gonna work properly.
If its called USED on ebay it means it must work or MONEY back. No harm in trying.

I somehow got a small hole in my taillight over the winter. I never backed into anything, so apparently someone backed into me or something hit my light. Rather than spend several hundred on an OEM part, I ordered this one from Amazon:

It cost $95, and took about 10-15 minutes to replace. I swapped the BLIS gizmo from the old light into the new one, and it works just like it used to.

Hey all,

I finally did it—I got into my first little “accident” with my truck.

I backed into a delivery truck and busted my passenger side tail light. Totally my fault, but goddamnit he wasn’t parked in a proper loading zone!! 🤬

I heard the back-up sensor beeping, but not rapidly, so I thought I was fine. Unfortunately, the truck was much higher than my bumper so the bumper didn’t sense it.

Anyhow, what are my options (besides a dealer) for replacement? Is it something I can install on my own?

Thanks in advance! you can find one at amazon the bliss and non bliss version it's easy to install yours has bliss you just have to install the module in place their is a video on how to install also
