will you get a bit more height adjustment on 2WD trucks. I am debating between the 1.2 and 1.8. I am installing 5100's in the rear and will be installing BSD Shackles as well for 1 inch lift in the rear :)

I am leaning towards 1.8 to get the OEM Tremor style height increase. Don't want to level as I plan tow quite often.

Bilstein 6112 up front set at 0.8" higher than stock. 5100 in the rear. Trashed the FX4 shocks. 1 1/2 years and they ride great. Do not follow video instructions from Stage3. Here is a link to Josh Mills removing the front struts. If you do it like this, then you will not put any stress on your drive shafts.

Are you still pleased with the ride at the 1.2 inch setting (middle) setting?

ACC still working without issues?
Very happy!
And yes, no change in the ACC, although it's always been a bit touchy.
There's a thread here about that.

Got my rears installed super easy. I was able to get the bolts out with my impact. Then got the top bolt hand tight and used my little 2Ton Harbor Freight trolley jack to compress the spring enough to let me get into the slot. Finally used a flat head screw driver to get the finally leverage to align the damper to feed the bolt through. Zip of the impact on both bolts... rinse and repeat. 30 mins tops. The stock dampers are laughable on how easy they are to compress compared to the Bilstein's. While I feel there is decent improvement, it still wallows up front with Stock FX shocks. Good thing Wednesday I am going to be getting my Front dampers put swapped :)

I got my Bilsteins installed in the front yesterday.

When I did my rear shocks, I was surprised at how soft the FX4 shocks were compared to the firmer Bilsteins.

The front is the inverse. The FX4 struts are firmer than the Bilsteins.

I wonder if this firm front/soft rear contributes to some of the pogostick effect some have mentioned?

It is a much improved ride with the Bilsteins at all 4 corners.

I used the 1.8 setting. It's pretty much level with a slight rake.

If/when I add a winch it will be just right.

No, I am not feeling the bumps more. The truck rides and drives much better.

A few days after getting them installed I drove down one of the local washboard gravel roads and the difference was tremendous. No more skittering across the washboard at the same speeds.

I wish I would've done it sooner.

Right now it has over 1000lbs of dead tree in the bed so measurements and pictures would be inaccurate. I'll grab some measurements and pics after I drop the tree off at the landfill.

Not at all.

Does it give you any reverse rake with the 1k lbs of dead tree?

Distance from top of tire (265/70/17 on 17x9 wheels) is right at 7".

Rear is right at 8".

The rear is stock but I remember that it actually came up about 1/4 inch when I installed the Bilsteins.

I'll get a pic later today.

What's the difference in the 6112s up front? Not questioning....just shock stupid...lol.
