I was basing that assumption on the fact that they told me it wasn’t adjustable?‍♂

I mean, I know I don’t know much about alignments but I’m also not working in a shop doing alignments so you’d think they be a little more on the ball.

So what do we suppose was the logic as to why Caster was more out of spec afterwords? Someone just couldn’t be bothered to fiddle with it or thought there was no adjustment and left it alone?

Appreciate everyone’s input!
My guess is lazy. Alignments can be a pain. When you move one thing it affects 2 others. If you are lazy and don’t want to go back and forth until it’s right you end up like this. Just go to a reputable place and start the alignment over. Otherwise as someone mentioned it could be a bent or worn part but likely just inexperience or a sloppy job.

When I look at the rear measurements I question the set up or the calibration of the heads/machine also.

Well, had the local Quick Lane take look. I didn’t know that was a thing, btw. Something else helpful I picked up from the forum. They had no problem getting it aligned, confirming the issue to be one of competency at the local tire chain, mis-calibration or both. I suspect both since several of Ford’s initial measurements differ from the other shops print out. Next stop will be discussing a refund with the first shop. After report is attached. I appreciate everyone’s input!

Looks like you got it resolved, but I heard one guy say install the shocks, then drive for 200 miles until it all settles in, and then align.

Good idea but I think he’ll be fine since the readings are fairly well centered now. Maybe check the toe in a few thousand miles. I would prefer to see a little toe rather than zero anyway.

That’s good to know but it was feeling pretty wonky, so I feel better knowing it’s right for now. Also, I’ve been driving it since the failed first alignment, not 200 miles worth, but things may have settled a bit in the meantime. I’m ok having it checked again a little down the road if needed.

Just remember as it settles down it will probably toe out which is a tire killer
